Overall, everyone was nice, and also professional. That said, I was frustrated by this experience. I checked with folks in the service department on 3 separate occasions over several months to explain how the computer had crashed and to determine if they felt they could extract the files. All 3 individuals replied with confidence and provided me an estimate for the work. I finally decided to take the computer in after I had asked a technician about a different problem on my current computer and he provided a simple and inexpensive fix. When I was able to correct the smaller issue, I had enough confidence to bring in my former computer. Unfortunately, $70 later, they said they could not get the files from the hard drive. The person who was working on the computer even asked me how it had crashed (which I had told them when I brought it in) and acted like he had needed to know that information before he began his efforts.
