THE PAINT DOCTOR

Had to come back and fix the garage since paint and cracks reappeared after a week or so after completion. Great room has crack again, I have messaged contractor but they are unresponsive. Splattered paint on the fireplace and never cleaned it up.

Working with Tom was wonderful. We had a tight schedule for the painting to be completed, and he was able to squeeze us in. The Paint Doctor painters were punctual and professional. They finished the job in just four days. We were very impressed with the quality of the paint job, and the painters did a great job with cleanup. We would definitely use The Paint Doctor again!

Tom's team did a great job on the house. The house was power-washed, scraped/prepped and then painted. I liked how the team interacted with one another and I appreciated how they kept the area around the house cleaned up. When we found a few areas that needed some touch-up, Tom responded quickly and took care of everything. We would definitely use him again.

It was uneventful which we wanted. Did the job effectivly and efficiently.

Although I had to wait longer than I expected due to lots of rain, Tom kept me thoroughly informed of when the job would get done. His two painters, Ben and Derrick, were excellent painters and workers and nice guys. They were well mannered and efficient. I liked their style! When I need more painting done, outside or inside, I will definitely contact The Paint Doctor!

The guys were great. The communication was excellent and they worked very hard in the heat and did an excellent job cleaning up. The guys were professional and my house looks amazing and is the best looking house on the street. I got their name from Angie's list and read their reviews and I couldn't be happier for hiring them. Tom and his team delivered quality work, constant communication and maintained a level of professionalism from start to finish. Tom worked with us to ensure that we understood how he was going to approach our project to ensure that it fit our needs. This included sitting down and discussing the exact colors and approach on all the rooms he painted, real-time communication on any one-off items that needed addressed and a focus on the timeline for which we needed everything completed. We have some external painting needs and we will absolutely be calling Tom for this project and any other future painting we need.

The service provided last fall (as listed with the price above) included the paint of my three story floor foyer and Jack and Jill bathroom. My husband previously got a quote from another local company that estimated hundreds of dollars more than this. Not only was the job done well, but it was also affordable.
The Paint Doctor will patch holes in the wall, bring scaffolding, and have a team of two to three men to accomplish the job in a timely manner. I had my walls done in two days. They cleaned up after themselves, were polite, quiet, and focused.
I would recommend, and have recommended this company to others!!
They are easy to get a hold of and responds quickly by phone call or text.

Tom and Ben were an absolute pleasure to work with.  I can't say enough good things about what a positive experience we had in working with them.  From start to finish Tom and Ben demonstrated professionalism, great customer service, and were fantastic to work with all the way around.

I can't say enough about Tom LaBuda and his entire crew. We were having difficulty making decisions on colors, and Tom even went to the paint store and got color samples that he thought would look nice in our house. He and Ben, a member of his team who is also an artist, independently agreed and helped us select the colors.  The crew started the day that they said they would, and they showed up on time every day until the job was completed. Despite the fact that we wound up adding on requests to the original job, they were gracious, cheerful, and very professional. The interior looks beautiful, and we are very, very happy.  Tom and his crew take pride in their work, and it shows. We recommend them with great enthusiasm!

I received three quotes from painters on Angie's List.  I was looking for excellent service and a lower price.  The Paint Doctor responded promptly and gave me the best price.  They did an excellent job.  The painters were so nice and personable.  I couldn't be happier with the job they did.  They were thorough and cleaned everything up and my home looks great!

The crew of Ben and Matt did a great job. They finished the house in approximately 3 1/2 days.Their attention to detail was great and they appeared every day on time and were extremely courteous. They did a fantastic job of cleaning up. My wife and I are very happy with the the work that they performed and we highly recommend the Paint Doctor.

There were a few points I felt were not completed or not cleaned up properly.
There are tons of paint chips all around the house from scraping, I felt this should have been cleaned up.
It didn't seem like there was caulking done in several spots that it was obviously needed.
There is at least some paint over-spray on almost all of the windows.
And due to hurricane Sandy weather issues and some not-so-dry-yet paint, the North side of the house now has a "whitewash" on the bottom red brick foundation and basement windows. Wasn't so pleased with that either. I dont know if there is a remedy for the paint to removed from the brick.
When I tried to ask for the over-spray on the windows to be scraped (he did scrape at least one window), Tom said he was there and the windows were covered during spraying. Well, perhaps it was my fault for not being there (I had to be at work), but there is definitely paint spray on the windows.
I do have to say the house looks very nice, and except for the clean up and over-spray issues, I am happy with the outcome.

They came highly recommended.  Tom Labouda is very professional and did a masterful job repairing and painting old walls.  He was respectful and accomodating with our staff.  All of his workers were polite and helpful, pleasant to have around. We will use them again and again.

They did a pretty good job. I wanted some repair work also to be done on the porch and they did it. I would grade them high on all categories except for the price.
