Very disappointing. I never got my treadmill fixed, and it has taken me five weeks of waiting for parts to find out I can not get them.
Description of Work: They came out to my house to look at my poorly working treadmill. The guy that came cleaned it, despite saying it was not bad, and, after calling the manufacturer to have a conversation about the treadmill, said they could order some parts and see if that fixes it. After 5 phone calls, 5 weeks, a bill I received for the parts, that I never received, I finally got a call back today telling me that the manufacturer no longer has the parts. I find it unacceptable someone came to the house that was supposed to be educated in dealing with treadmills, who had to call the manufacturer to see what they thought (which I could have done), and spent five weeks wasting my time before informing me that my parts are not available.

After the repair was done I was handed another bill for $95.68. I am happy with the repair and I have no problem at all with the repairman or the receptionist. Both were friendly and professional. I do have a problem with not hearing back from a manager. I don't expect any money back, but I would like express my displeasure at a company policy that, in my opinion, cheats the customer. Nearly $100 is a lot to pay for someone to look at the machine and say "you need a new part". I guess customer service is not a priority with this company as it has been over 3 weeks since I requested a call back. It would be nice if this hourly charge was mentioned when the appointment is made!
Description of Work: My elliptical needed repair. A man came out and looked at it and said I needed a new pulley, which would have to be ordered and would arrive in a week. This took him about 20 minutes to do. He then handed me a bill for $89 plus tax for a total of $95.68. He said the company charges by the full hour. I called to speak to a manager about this because I don't think this policy is right. I would have been happy to pay for a half-hour house call because he did have to see what the problem was, but charging for a whole hour seems excessive to me, and even unethical. My car mechanic doesn't even charge that much. I was told by the receptionist that a manager would call. Two weeks went by, no call. The receptionist called to say my parts had arrived and we set up an appointment for the install. I mentioned I had not heard from the manager and she told me she would once again leave a message for the manager to call me. Over a week later and I have not received a call.
