Fantastic. Denise was very easy to work with. She listened to what we wanted and incorporated it into her design. Very pleased.

She was great. She gave real practical ideas of how I could make my dream home a reality. She was prompt and she gave me ideas that would save money. She even gave me suggestions to help save on the time o would need to consult a designer (her). I would definitely hire her again.

Denise has impeccable interior decorating skills and she assisted in making a traditionally decorated colonial home feel contemporary using colors and lighting. I had a budget and she helped me make decisions on the changes that would drive resale potential. Denise visited my home several times, recommended (never pushed) contractors and stayed in touch consulting on light fixture placement through the end of the work. Denise has a passion for decorating and I highly recommend her services.

She was on time, it went really well.

She met with us in our home several times, discussing our preferences and providing floor plans of possible
furniture arrangements. She helped us choose the color and pattern of the
wallpaper and located an area rug whose pattern matched the wallpaper pattern.
She accompanied us twice to a furniture store and advised us on the selection
of two recliners and a sofa to coordinate with an existing recliner. We had a
problem with fabrics being out of stock and she was very helpful in finding
other fabrics we liked. During the entire time she assisted us, she was available,
responsive, prompt and professional. Her services were well worth her fee. We
have no reservations about recommending her.

Denise did an outstanding job on two separate engagements with us.  She listened to the high level ideas we had and incorporated them into a design plan that matched what we were looking for.  She comes up with great ideas and is easy to work with.

Denise provided excellent interior design advice for remodaling our kitchen, painting majority of interior, carpeting family room and stairs, and displaying artwork.  She's an excellent listener and skillfully tailored her advice to our  to our tastes. She was enjoyable to work with and always patient as we slowly mulled over various decisions. We chose to use OnSite General Contractors which is owned by Denise and her husband and we were not disappointed. We could not have asked for more detailed, high quality construction. Finally, we ordered our kitchen cabinets, sink, faucet and hardware and family room bookcases from The Home Store, also owned by Denise and her husband. The Home Store also provided excellent service.
We will unquestionably use Denise for future projects.

Denise is absolutely terrific.  She provided excellent suggestions on each phase of her work.Extremely courteous from the first contact to the finished work.Always quick to respond to phone calls .quality results. Highly recommend.

We have used Denise several times and have been quite pleased.  She's very pleasant, accommodating and listens carefully to your preferences.  Her sense of color is outstanding.  We know other people who have used her services and they say the same thing.  In addition to recommending options for decorating she had also provided us with excellent contractors.  Recently we remodeled our kitchen.  Denise helped us with selecting the paint color, granite, and wood flooring and arranged for the various tradesmen necessary to complete the project.  Throughout the process she stayed in touch with us, checking on the progress and answering our questions.  Things went very smoothly and we love the results.

When I asked her to limit my choices to 3 items to keep the project from becoming overwhelming, she was able to do that with items that were all to my liking.  She listens to the customer and is able to meet your needs without her own influences - unless you ask for her opinion.  She was fabulous to work with and I am very pleased with the completed project.  I look forward to working with her again.

I was having a lot of difficulty trying to pick out colors for my living room, dining room and foyer that would make  my house feel warm and inviting.  I finally gave in and went to Angie's list  for help.  I saw Denise's name and liked what others said so I called her and we set up an appointment. She arrived on time and we began our color search. After looking  at the areas to be painted she looked at her swatches and found a couple of beautiful colors that fit into what I was looking for.

She answered all of my questions and offered suggestions on how to bring colors into the other rooms.

After the painting is done I am going to set up another  appointment for her to help me with accessories. 
she was great to work with and I highly recommend her.

She will be back to help me place furniture, pictures, and generally make the house feel cozy. She has been very professional and she is exceptionally advanced in her field.

She was punctual. She was extremely creative, reasonable in prices and helpful. I could call her for a quick question. I would use her again. NOTE: Denise and her husband also own a storefront called HOME STORE where they feature different products like sinks and tile and so forth. They also have contacts for installers of such things. I found it to be a great resource and recommend her service.

I was getting new siding and a new roof. I had small samples of the siding colors and a larger sample of the roofing colors. It was very difficult trying to picture how the different colors would look on the house from these small samples and since I was spending a large amount of money (to me) on siding and roofing I didn't want to make a bad choice and then regret it every time I looked at my house. Denise came out to my house. We took the samples outside to look at them. Denise's guidance on selecting the colors for the roof, the main color for the siding and the trim color as well as all the door colors was invaluable. We also talked about the size of the siding panels (which would look better 4" or 5"), and other trim options, as well as how to handle the gutters. I am so very happy with how it all turned out and have received wonderful comments about how good my house looks and how great the colors turned out. I would also add that Denise was very generous about answering a few followup questions I had after our meeting. Denise was easy to work with and she would be my first choice for any other projects I might have, that have a design component.

Denise arrived on time and with a big smile. Right away you could tell that she was friendly, enthusiastic and professional. She listened carefully to our likes and dislikes and got right to work. It was amazing how much advice she gave us within the hour. Believe me, we got our money's worth. Not only did she help us select a bathroom color, but offered suggestions for accesorizing the room. She was also open questions we had about the rest of our house. By the time she left we not only had a color for the bathroom but the living room, dining room and family room as well. In addition to leaving a 4x4 sample of the colors we selected, she is ordering larger color samples and having them mailed to us. This will give us a better idea of the colors and help confirm our choices. In addition to all the great ideas Denise had for our house she was also able to give us the names and phone numbers of people she had used and would recommend for painting and carpentry. Denise was great to work with and we really valued her honest opinions and practical solutions.

We were very happy with the result. Not only do we love the way the nursery turned out, but Denise helped us finish spaces that have been unfinished for years. We hesitated to hire a decorator because of the extra expense, but we believe we actually spent less money overall. Just by re-arranging what we already had, moving items to different locations and even raiding our storage area in the basement, we found that the things we had were already what we needed. We ended up buying fewer new things because we utilized what we had in a better way. Working with Denise is like having a very stylish friend come over to help you out. She also was always keeping us in mind and offering suggestions via email. We couldn't be happier with her, our new nursery and our newly updated house and would not hesitate to use her again or recommend her to a friend!

Denise is outstanding! She presents her design concepts in a very professional way. She really listens and was able to acheive the look we were searching for but would never have been able to accomplish on our own. Denise is a pleasure to work with. She has a real talent of knowing "what works" and "what doesn't". Excellent value in avoiding decorating missteps that can waste time and money. We got better service and pricing from vendors by working with Denise.

Denise was extremely helpful. She understood perfectly the look we were going for and immediately pointed out things we would never have thought of. She was very aware of time and was exceptional at helping us focus on details and make decisions we are very happy with. Decisions which would have taken us weeks to make on our own she guided us to make within an hour. We are so happy with our experience we plan on asking for her help in the future for other projects. We are very pleased.

I first met with Denise in October 2007 and have worked with her periodically ever since. In 2007 we moved from an older house to a newer one that needed extensive redecorating. We needed to make decisions about what to keep and what to buy new, along with a whole new updated color scheme. Denise was a wonderful sounding board and resource person when it came to putting everything together, wall colors, carpet colors, furniture, lighting and window treatments. I had always wanted to work with a decorator and she was the best, always helpful, professional and a pleasure to know. We have received many compliments on the decorating and I tell people she was worth every penny in saving me from making costly mistakes.

The three colors that she chose for the exterior of the house a few years ago still get complemented for increasing the curb appeal. She helped me pick the colors that will help me sell the house in a year. Also, when the painting is done, I will have her return to stage the house.

Our remodel is in progress, but we are already very happy with the results. All of the color selections work very well together, and recommendations on furniture placement have really de-cluttered the room.

Denise is great. Very nice and helpful. She gave us some excellent ideas that saved me time and money from costly mistakes I may have made.

She has the eye of an artist. She is a graduate of a very prestigious school of design.

Denise did an excellent job staying focused and making suggestions. Once I am finished with all of my painting I will have her back to help with the decorating.
