I needed a water heater replaced urgently. They quoted a price that included installation of a new water heater and haul away of the old one. They replaced the water heater and took payment. They said they will come back to haul the old one away. They haven't been back after repeated phone calls over the past 9 months.

Came after 8pm. He came right away. Then came the next day. They did a wonderful job.

For price I didn't really shop around, but I didn't think they were outrageous. They came out right away. They were on time. Yes, I would use them again, I wouldn't bother to call anybody else.

I can't begin to tell you what a great job that was done by American Plumbing. I called and was able to get someone to my house that same week. They arrived on time and we got right to it. They listened to what my concern was and they got the camera out to determine if there was a cracked pipe. I thought that was the case and explained that to the nice lady at the office. They were upfront about the cost of the camera inspection and it was reasonable. They put the camera in and I was pleased to know that I had PVC pipe and there was no problem with that going to the street. So we looked at the other direction and a few tree roots but nothing that was going to cause an issue. So we talked some more about what the possible issue was and it was mentioned that the foundation might be the issue. My stomach sank. I was possibly looking at around 10k for someone to dig around the foundation and seal it etc. We talked a little more and he was very upfront and honest that they don't do the sealing of basements and his estimate is just a guess. Then he said let's look at the sump pump. We went downstairs and low and behold there was standing water in there. He said your pump is dead. He brought the new one in and to make sure it wasn't the electrical plug , we plugged in the new and it fired up. He replaced the old one with a new 3 yr warranty one and within 25 minutes he was gone. They were very professional and clean, and it was $350.00 for the new pump and $150.00 for the camera and priceless on the amount of relief that he kept checking on things to make sure that all things were ruled out. I can't thank American Plumbing enough for their fast service and didn't take advantage of me. I would hire and recommend them all day long. Thank you guys. He also mentioned that the next rain I should hear it kick on and if it doesn't or I see any water to call them right away and they will come out at no cost. Honesty and integrity. Who knew that still existed.
