Steve arrived a few minutes early, talked about what he would and would not be looking at, basically he looked at anything he could inspect without completely taking things apart (he did take access panels off, just advised that he wouldn't be breaking into walls). He didn't mind that I walked through with him and asked questions. He was very thorough and found a few things that while not deal-breakers, where things I definitely wanted resolved by the seller. He was professional and courteous and obviously has a good deal of experience. His report was thorough and quick, he gave me a hand written copy upon completion, e-mailed typed copy later that night (to me and my Realtor).
Since the Radon test requires 48 hours, I didn't get that the same day, but he emailed the results shortly after he picked up the test device and got them himself. He also left a contact card and notes explaining the Radon test to the seller near the unit in the basement, as well as on the dining room table and on each door leading out of the house.
I would definitely use him again!

Steve was extremely thorough which saved me in that he found some cracks that "the owner was waiting for us to say something about so he could fix it". We would have been out a large chunk of money!!!!I appreciate that he took time to look over everything (not just pretended to know what he was looking at). By the end of the inspection I had a handwritten copy of the inspection and 2 hours later I had the typed summary. I even had my dad call him to have him explain more into his findings so we could determine our next step and he referred us to a couple different choices of people who could provide further structural inspections. Thanks Steve! I appreciate all you did!

The home inspection was the best that we have had in buying a home.

Scheduling was fantastic, Steve worked with us to meet us on a Saturday, because that was the day that worked best for us. He was also cheaper than any of his competitors that we were able to reach (some inspectors did not get back to us until after the fact, and other inspectors could not meet our schedule requirements). Steve was early for the appointment, and got started before we even arrived. He was incredibly thorough, and went over all the details with us. He patiently answered all of our questions, and made us feel confident about going forward with the purchase. Steve was courteous, punctual, cost-effective, and thorough, plus he was extremely considerate of the seller's home. We received a copy of his report, on the spot. I was so glad that we got to work with Steve, it worked out great for us, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector.

We were very pleased with the inspection. Steve was on time and thorough in his work. He pointed out several items not usually included in house inspections. He reduced the final price from his original quote because the house was unoccupied.

Before the actual closing, we had a concern with the basement. Steve came to the property right away and assessed the situation without an additional charge.
