grass, beds and trees. They are the cheapest bidder and not worth the
quality. They regularly forget to do the work by our house (landscape
easement) They killed a bunch of big trees blaming the chemical
company. There is a lawsuit supposedly with the chemical company. They
recently took bushes down and a big tree and replaced with a bunch of
river rocks. It looks horrible and grass was growing inside of the bed.
They also did a horrible job seeing where they damaged my yard and I
had to do it.
Years ago I hired them to fertilize my yard
throughout the season. I fired them because they killed my grass and I
am serious about that. They don't show up as promised and is not
reliable.
I wouldn't use them ever and hopefully our homeowner association will dump them.
The weather did not cooperate from the very start, off and on rain, so the project was not started as anticipated. Unfortunately, once the rain stopped it became blazing hot but work continued. However, the seed, despite continual watering, never did produce grass and we were left with a bumper crop of weeds.
As we were not happy with the grading, a crew returned in the early fall. They added some soil and seeded/strawed a second time. The grade still leaves a lot to be desired (high at the driveway, low in the center around the water meter access). The reseeding and watering did produce some grass. The existing grass was mostly bermuda but fescue was sown, yard is two toned in the spring and fall.
The side yard area had to be done twice because it had not been done to our satisfaction. The crew had to remove all of the side yard plantings and regradebecause they had origionaly backfilled and mulched about 2-3 courses of brick above the foundation. Unfortunately, there is a drainage issue in the side yard that seemed worse. A slight swale was added to the side yard that somewhat helped that situation
Regarding the paver walkway there were and continues to be problems. About half of the walkway had a "dusty" look (from the locking sand I believe), it looked like concrete dust. A clear coat was applied in an effort to resolve the issue but to no avail. This past summer the "dusty" section was removed and replaced, locking sand applied, resealed twice and again has returned to the "dusty" concrete dust look. I requested that Mr. Louiso come out to inspect the walk but he was too busy but offered to send an employee out. I declined, as it was going to be the same ones that installed both times before.
