CONCEPTS INC

First off. Never mentioned they don’t do the tear out for the counters at any point. Even when talking to the guy out measuring. Just a line in their contract. Talked to owner. He was extremely condescending, rude and zero concern for customer service. Tried charging me. They under measured multiple slabs. They damaged walls in all three rooms they installed in. Even jammed into my new drywall. See pic. Nothing lines up. Huge gaps. Didn’t seal the tops. Left big mess in each bathroom. Have to hire my painter to come back out to redo his work he just. They mention slight damage possible but this was extreme inexperience or negligence. I emailed them about all of this 5 days ago. Dead silence. Do not use this company. Funny part is given my line of work I would have been a huge referral source for them had this went well. It didn’t. Should’ve stuck with Home Depot. Even they would’ve done better.

Picked out the stone, guy came out & measured, my contractor went over & over exactly what we expected with him & Ashley at the office. We had forgotten to include the sink price, Ashley called with the new price quote which I ok’d, I paid with a credit card and signed the contract with the sink amount added. However their was suppose to be a template of the project, which I did not get. The form she emailed was page 1 of 1. The template was not what the contractor talked to them about. We did not know their was a issue until delivery. The rock was not big enough to have the seams where we thought. The edges was not to the contractors specifications either. You would think somewhere in the conversations someone should have let us know. We took the granite after much arguing about a refund that Concepts would not do. The seams do not match well and can be plainly seen. I would never recommend them to anyone.

Had an excellent experience from start to finish with Concepts. Jennifer Retail Manager was very considerate to answering my endless questions and the granite I picked out was in great shape when it made it down for install. The two installers Rocky and Chris came down on a dreadful snow day and were very knowledgeable and professional in the install. They are a great team and if you use Concepts I would ask for them if possible. Finally the price quoted was more than competitive and hard to beat.

Three months after installation, we started noticing dull spots on the island. Since this was first time I had ever had quartz, I wanted to know if we should be doing something different. Concepts offered multiple options to get the gloss back. Finally, when more dull spots continued to show, they brought out factory rep for warranty evaluation. When rep came, he told me gloss was to high on the counter. He used some special formula and rubbed it into a 2-foot diameter circle in the middle of island and said the duller gloss was what it should look like. I was not aware, but was OK with that, if the entire counter was the same. Concepts had told me to apply polish to get the gloss back up. He said a number of fabricators add a gloss sealer. Manufacturer told Concepts that there was no warranty because a sealer was used. Concepts simply forwarded report to me and said it was not covered. In doing this, they were implying that I was the one that applied this sealer. I did not. I have never added a sealer to the counter. We only use All Purpose Cleaning Vinegar. It had the gloss sealer on it when it was installed by Concepts. I've gone back multiple times requesting help to get this fixed, especially the giant circle in center of island that the warranty rep (who Concepts requested) left. I was told i would be called two weeks ago. Still nothing, even after I sent email following up on this. Concepts Inc. was originally a company that I was pleased with, but I am disappointed and frustrated with their complete unwillingness to fix a problem with their work. Implying it was my actions that caused this was even more upsetting.

They gave us a very good price. They came in and did a very professional job, and we were very happy. We were very pleased with them. They measured everything down to the minute inch, and everything came in and fit perfectly. The overall experience was excellent. They were $1300. cheaper than another company. They were responsive, punctual, and professional. I have never dealt with a company that did as well as they did. They were just really good.
