The Garrett Basement Waterproofing crew that came to my house was punctual, professional, quick, and courteous.
My wife and I were very satisfied with the job initially, but we quickly ran into a problem. A water pipe started to slowly drip after they left. When I called back about this, Garrett sent someone out the next day to look at the problem. To make a long story short, they contacted a plumbing service to come out and fix the issue that same day. Garrett also covered the cost of the repair, but it was not without a little frustration.
One of the gentlemen from Garrett said that the vibration from the jackhammer used to break the concrete of my basement floor could have caused the hairline crack in the pipe. I was later told via the plumber, a Garrett family member, that it could not have been caused by them. He tried convincing me that the leak had been there before. I think I would have noticed if I had a leaky pipe and a puddle of water prior to any work being done down there!
The bottom line is that Garrett Basement Waterproofing did do a very nice job, and admirably and quickly took responsibility for an error caused by their crew.

Job was finished in a shorter time than we anticipated. Nevertheless it was done in a complete and professional manner. When they finished they cleaned up after themselves. There was still cleaning to do after they left but they got most of the big stuff, e.g. the gravel and pieces of cement. They had covered most surfaces with dro[ cloths which were also hauled out when the job was finished.
We were especially impressed with the dust containment as we had been forewarned by others that there would be dust everywhere, including upstairs. After all, this is sawing and grinding of old concrete. But upstairs (our main living space) was barely affected, if at all, by the dust downstairs. The crew used a vacuum to suck most of the dust out through the dryer vent and this was effective in preventing dust suspension in the work area.
The crew conducted themselves in a professional manner, but when they left the first day there was no update or even advising us they were leaving. I think this would have happened the second (final) day too, had there not been a bill due. In retrospect this is a minor issue. Except for a couple of spots where small holes were drilled and not filled, the crew was attentive to their task and seemed very competent. The holes will be addressed in the near future, as the owner has been notified and has stated such.
As of this writing we haven't been able to test the system due to no excess groundwater yet but this is expected to change after the next
rain. By all appearances, we expect the system to perform as expected.

It was okay. I liked the father when he came out to give me an estimate. He was very prompt, courteous, and reasonable, but I had to get them back 3 times to have the job completed to my satisfaction. The price was excellent. I would certainly consider them, but I don't know whether or not I would use them again.

Dug a trench on inside walls of family room (basement),inserted drain tile, and inserted a waterproof vapor barrier underneath existing paneling...Then covered up the trench with cement, as we were told they would do.

The work was okay, but I was not happy with the sump pump they put in; I wish I had gone with another company.

They did a very good job and was reasonably priced and very efficient. They did an inside job and it was done really well. I wrote them a check and I did it incorrectly and he contacted me. I wrote out another check and apologized and everything went really well.

After receiving quotes from three different companies and then comparing both pricing and BBB ratings, we chose Garret Basement as being the best of the three. John Garrett was quite friendly. He provided a detailed explanation of what he was going to do and how it compared to others. While I was hesitant to have any of the work done given how minor the leak was, John explained the overall benefits and pointed out that it was better to be safe than sorry when it comes to basement issues. He showed up when promised and was done in a timely fashion. We are happy with the work and now just need for it to rain to see if everything is operating properly.
