In addition, acid stains, rock or an epoxy coating can be applied, which can make that once dull and boring area come alive! Our state-of-the-art LAVINA® 20-S Surface Preparation & Polishing System is efficient at grinding down surface imperfections and pitting in concrete caused by the ravages of weather and salt from the vehicles to a smooth, even surface. Our highly-trained technicians use state-of-the-art equipment and a revolutionary process to safely and gently restore the clean, crisp, natural beauty of tile and grout. Grout is a porous material that absorbs dirt and grime immediately after installation and will continue to do so as the floor ages. Over time, the grout can become uneven and cause the entire floor to look dirty and old. Some people ask why they should have us power-clean their tile and grout when they can just mop it. Mopping alone cannot achieve the kind of results we can. In fact, when you mop, often it will make the grout more unsightly. You may get the tile surface clean but the dirt on the mop settles into the porous grout, actually making it worse. With our special equipment, we can focus on the grout for a deep-down, powerful cleaning and actually pull the dirt and debris out of the tile and grout lines. Detailing Services GK's operates a fully operational, year-round detailing division. We have been detailing cars, watercrafts, motorcycles and RVs since 1994 and know the value that you place on them. We have the equipment and knowledge to tackle any detailing project. Do you need help restoring your car to a “show room” level of quality? Do you want to make your automobile look as good as possible before selling it in order to get the best value? Need help getting your boat in top shape before returning to the water? Our interior and exterior detailing services will leave your vehicles looking brand new. We even offer one of our loaner vehicles free of charge! Our comprehensive detailing services cover both the interior and exterior of your automobile. With our exterior detailing, we will first degrease your door, trunk and hood. Wheel wells will be cleaned of any debris. Tires and wheels will be cleaned. We will then hand wash your vehicle with pH balanced, non-abrasive car soap. Bugs, tar and tree sap as well as all rail dust/industrial fallout will be removed. We will then chamois dry your car to prevent scratching before it is machine polished to fix any imperfections. A glaze is applied to painted surfaces to restore luster, depth and remove surface swirls and minor scratches. We will then apply Carnauba wax (Grade No. 1) and hand buffed to perfection. All chrome will be cleaned and polished, tires and exterior rubber trim will be dressed, wheels will be blackened and tire pressure will be checked and adjusted. When choosing our interior detailing, the entire interior and trunk is vacuumed. We pre-spots and steam cleans your carpet, floor mats, trunk and interior upholstery with our extraction system. All plastic and wood surfaces will be treated, windows and vanity mirrors will be cleaned with fog-free cleaner and your dash, console, door panels, vents and seatbelt buckles are cleaned and dressed. By performing these simple services while your item is in storage, hundreds if not thousands of repair dollars can be avoided in the future. All stored items can be detailed while in storage, so that when you are ready to pull your item, it is ready to go. Your battery is tended to prevent loss of charge, tire pressure is checked and regulated regularly, cushion mats are put under tires to prevent “flat-spotting”, washer fluid is added and tire threads and all exterior lights are checked. I have a 2014 Sea Ray and my boat's gel coat was fading bad, even after weekly washing in-season and completely detailing prior to and after seasons. Still, a hard part formed between the hardtop and the cabin, something I figured was not going to be able to be fixed. Grant's team not only made the area where the hard part was look brand new, so did the rest of the boat. The gel coat looks amazing! They did a tremendous job and went beyond my expectations. I wasn’t just pleased with the finished product, their customer service was on point as well. Enett in the office kept constant communication with me, making things go very smooth. She was able to answer all of my questions. No other detailer will touch my boat now that I found these guys!

The job went well. A lot of prep work because of the nature of the job. They had to make sure they didn't get any of the polishing slurry onto the adjacent carpeting as well as baseboards, walls etc. They did an excellent job in that regard because there was absolutely nothing that needed to be repaired or touched up when they finished. The marble tiles, which were dull and scuffed, now look like mirrors. Absolutely beautiful. When anybody walks into the house through the front door, the marble floor captures their attention immediately and they are sure to comment on it. The two employees, Richard and Joe, were both good at their jobs, true professionals. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

Chipped corners of several tiles. I found a broken crystal drawer knob that they claimed was broken previously. I ask if there could be a price adjustment and they refused saying the price quoted was for less than they did. It was their tech's decision to do what was done, I had not asked to have the entire floor re-polished. The damage still remains, and that is the issue. Based on their cavalier attitude, I cannot recommend them. I give them an and quot;Fand quot;.

It is always our goal to please every customer and provide a quality service at a reasonable price. Please see below for the response to each of your concerns: 1. Chipped corners on several tiles Your marble floor contains very small marble hexagon and square tile pieces (1” – 2” diameters). When this type of surface is being refinished, there can sometimes be some small chips that appear on the edges of the tiles if there is lippage present between the tiles. After these chips were pointed out to GK’s, we offered to come and fill these chips with an epoxy, but the customer was only interested in a discount. 2. Broken Crystal Drawer Knob Our technician found the broken piece to the crystal drawer knob tucked in the corner on the floor by the vanity cabinet when he was performing the maintenance work. At the time of the original estimate, (before any work had been completed), pictures were taken of the floor. The picture where the vanity cabinet is present shows that the knob was broken prior to our arrival.

Description of Work: Broke my convertible top and completely denied all wrong doing. My car top is nonfunctional. I requested multiple times to speak to the owner who never once called me back. I filed a compliant with attorney general and they lied in their formal written response. If you are going to deny any wrongdoing at least have the professional courtesy to return at least one of my calls. Unethical!

GK’s Custom Polishing, Inc. detailed your BMW that was in our storage facility for two months. It is our policy when detailing older vehicles, (yours being a 1992 convertible) to never put the top down. As the Front Office Manager, my job is to oversee all the storage & detailing that we perform here at GK’s. GK’s did return every phone call to you. We did consult with experts in the convertible top field in an attempt to help you to solve this problem. The pictures that were taken of your top clearly showed one small area of the aluminum frame that frayed where the bolt was loose from rubbing over the years. Unfortunately at that time, all that was acceptable to you, was to replace it with an entirely new top, and we did not feel that was fair.

Please see above. Finally was able to get the floor done - by Rick Wick. Jonathan of GK called several times and I never returned his phone calls since I finally had the project completed.
Description of Work: Trying to get marble floor in front hall cleaned and polished - please view my negative comment, also for Marblelife. This company sent Jonathan Costa who was prompt for appt. , reviewed what needed to be cleaned (which is a small front entrance and guest bathroom. He told me he would get back to me in 3 days with a quote. Couldn't give me a quote on site. Asked for my email address. Never did get an estimate and he never tried to contact me - until 3 weeks after I saw him. In the meantime, being this my second attempt to get someone to polish my marble - I called a friend who is an interior designer and she gave me the name of Rick Wick. Rick came out within days of my call - scheduled a time to perform the service. Half the fee that Marblelife gave me. Completed the project - no problems and floor looks great. Would never use MarbleLife or GK again, nor have any of my friends use them.

When a customer does have a problem or feels that we could have done a better job at something, we will gladly rectify the problem. We keep very detailed records of correspondences with our customers. What you posted on your report about our company is inaccurate. Please see the time line below: June 17, 2011, Friday Member contacted GK's Custom Polishing, Inc. and requested that we come to her home to give her a quote on refinishing her marble foyer and powder room. Jonathan set this appointment up with Member for Monday, June 20, 2011, arrival between 12:00-12:30pm. June 20, 2011, Monday Jonathan was running early for his appointment so he called Member at 11:00am and asked if he could arrive a little early. Jonathan arrived at 11:30am. He reviewed the areas with Member, measured the areas and answered all questions that she had. He told Member that he would email or mail her a proposal (whatever she would prefer) within the next few days. Member said it would be fine to email her the proposal. June 23, 2011, Thursday Jonathan emailed the proposal to Member at 7:46am June 27, 2011, Monday Jonathan called at 12:07pm to follow up with Member to make sure she received the proposal. Jonathan spoke with Member, who was briefly home for lunch. He said that he would take down the message and make sure Member had received the email and proposal. July 6, 2011 Jonathan called and left a message at 3:04pm to follow up on the proposal.
