He's just a very caring person, which I think is very unusual. He's enormously energetic, fair, honest; I trust that anything he says is the truth, and that's unusual in today's world. He inherited the business from his dad; I've known him since he was 18. He's just a neat guy.

Very disappointed. We took the truck in because it wouldn't go into reverse and had a horrible grinding noise. He told us the emergency brake had broken off and jammed it, so he repaired that. The next day, it wouldn't go into reverse OR drive unless it was in 4WD and the grinding noise remained. Took it back; he drained and replaced the transmission fluid and replaced some valves; told us it was running like a new truck; he did tell us a little grinding noise could still be heard, but that it would go away as we drove it more. When we picked it up, it did go into gear, but the grinding noise was far worse than before and did NOT improve the more you drove it. I took the truck to a different mechanic and found that the transfer case was hanging on by a thread and the u-joint was corroded. Had both replaced by new garage and NOW the truck runs like new. I was very annoyed with Detzel's. I won't take another vehicle there.

We brought in our minivan for an estimate based on problems handling the vehicle and received a quick diagnosis and estimate. We left the van for examination and approved the recommended work. The work was completed in a single day and addressed the problem as the vehicle now handles much better than before. We recommend this small garage for routine repairs and reliable diagnosis.
