FLEE !!!!! Worst experience ever. My street was somewhat finished - some lots still to go and Not one of us on our street had Insulation overhead. The Drywall tape is literally not connected to the wall for about a 8 foot run. And when the guy came out to look at it he told me ( NOT TO PAINT WITH EGGSHELL PAINT)--That was his answer. The answer for his crews doing real crappy work. Real stand up place. I had to have the whole place painted due to the drywall being not coated properly and they did a beyond lousy job where corners didn't even come together. Buy the way I have had to pay for this out of my own pocket! Bath tub was not secured all it was suspended on was the edge of the tile. No security in it at all we could have gone into the ceiling. Family room not insulated. Roof leaked since day one and no one to repair it. Its on my final walk thorough. They told me they would be back. NOT SO!!! I have a majority of neighbors who have had total roof tear offs and there homes are only a few years old. This house in the condition that it was in it never should have passed inspection. Which seriously concerns me about the AVON LAKE BUILDING INSPECTION DEPTARTMENT. They don't adhere to the Rules of the association. You have to call 3 people and then they push it off on some one else. I have a career that I get to speak to a lot of people and they have asked me about KOPF Builders. Due to them wanting to build. My response is to forget it. There are plenty of builders out there. I can say that I actually I know 5 that have had someone else build there homes. There results are beautiful! I am a self employed Dr. with over 4000 patients and I know how important reviews and referrals are. And, I love to see people come back to me year after year. There is no higher complement. I want to do my very very best. Actually, I rarely leave reviews- But I thought this was very important a must if you will. I thought Kopf Builders would love to see return customers over and over. I guess that is not the case. What a shame. Very disappointed. And the sad thing is there are many more like me because I have met them and swapped storys. I am getting ready to build another home. Sad to say-not with KOPF. Good Luck in your decisions!!!!
