I was always pleased with the service. They are local business and a part of the community. Sometimes they even drove me home from the shop while they worked on my car!

Hartsels did a great job diagnosing and fixing an issue with my '99 Volvo. The car seemed to want to stall every time it was idling. Hartsels ran the diagnostics and fixed based on the code that came up. However, they also said that there could be other reasons and that if the problem came back they would run any additional diagnostics for free and fix.
They were extremely nice; took the time to explain all of the possible causes and fixes.

Their price was much less than what it would have cost at a dealership. However, we had some trouble getting them to do some more work a month later. They could not get to my car in time, did not call me about this, and I had to take back my car later that day.

The staff was very accommodating. I was able to switch to a bigger truck two days before the move. Everything was upfront. They gave me the information to make my own decision on what I wanted. No pressure at all.

We brought our 2005 Subaru in for a terrible rattle and a full check-up and oil change. The check up is free with an oil change. They quickly found the rattle and installed heat shield clamps. We also needed 2 belts and a broken light bulb. That's a lot of work for a really reasonable price. I now feel comfortable letting my 16 year old drive the car to school and work. Sheila in the office was efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. Small town shops are great for the personal service. They also know their stuff!

We discussed the work in detail in advance and they ordered all the parts from Honda before I took the car in. The work was completed as expected and they asked me if I wanted to see the old parts which was their standard practice. I was impressed by that and by their friendly attitude and competence. I took another vehicle in two weeks later for several repairs and again was very impressed with their work. They do not have a large staff so be prepared for the car to be there for two or three days unless the work is very simple. You need to make an appointment well in advance due to their work load.

THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY AND THEY HONORED IT WITH NO PROBLEM. THEY DID A GOOD JOB.
