I called this Tree Trimmer on a Saturday morning. I never got a response.

Doug and his crew did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional, and cleaned up nicely. His price was below other estimates.

Great! We are impressed with the work that was done and really enjoyed working with Doug and his crew. Communication was excellent, with great care taken to ensure we were always on the same page as far as expectations were concerned. It went really well. It took two days to get the job done and we were very pleased with the service. We had contacted several other companies and they all declined the job because the oak tree was very large, rotten, and in a difficult to get to location which required men to climb up on it to cut it down, rather than being able to use equipment. Ace tree service came right out and got it done though.

Doug and  his crew were very professional.  I had very smooth communications with Doug from bid through clean-up.  We communicated by phone, by text messages and/or by e-mails and I could count on his response within 24 hours.  For someone who is out in the field on a daily basis in the summer and early Fall, that alone was impressive.  He started the job at the time frame he promised which made anticipating the beginning of the job a pleasure.  The work was done by hand (no crane) and thus, the crew was very kind to my lawn.  All the brush was hauled away and the lawn where the brush was hauled looked as though it had been raked -- I found only a few leaves!  At my request and at no additional charge, I was left with the large pieces of wood cut to fireplace length neatly stacked in my yard.  Ace Tree Service was my third experience with tree removal in the past 15 years and absolutely the best.  I would STRONGLY recommend Doug and his company to anyone with tree removal needs.  You can rely on him to be reasonably priced, prompt and professional.

Doug arrived on time and began work promptly. Work was completed within 2 hours and area cleaned of any debris/chips. Excellent job !!

For the amount of work that was done, this was an amazing price. Doug is very polite, responsive, and as an Arborist, definitely knows what he is doing. I would highly recommend this company!

Trimmed Maple tree in back yard. Doug the owner and his crew showed up on time, removed 5 large bottom limbs, damaged limbs and dead limbs. Doug and crew were pleasant, professional and reliable. From the moment we met Doug to give us an estimate we knew he knew what he was doing and that we could trust him to do the job right. He treated us with respect and so did his crew. We highly recommend this company to anyone and we plan on hiring Doug in the future. Great job Doug!

Doug at Ace Tree Service was excellent. He was on and very thorough. Ace came out and removed two small trees, removed one stump, and trimmed back two giant oak trees on the property. They did an amazing job and were on top of it in terms of moving items out of the way, replacing them when they were finished, and cleaned up more than I expected.

We have many trees on the property and have used most of the major tree services over the years to periodically trim and treat them, so have a lot of experience with provider performance and pricing in this area. Some of our old oak trees are on the lake and need to be trimmed periodically to withstand high winds. We also had some overgrown peach trees that had become a nuisance that we wanted removed and some beautiful and mature specimen pines (e.g., Scots, Vanderwolf) that needed trimming. One is on a major street next to electrical wires and we wanted it trimmed before the electric company might come through and butcher it, as it is a focal point. We also had a few other random trees that we wanted removed to make room for new plantings. Doug was a standout from the start. He responded promptly to our call and arrived early to walk the property for the initial assessment. His recommendations were realistic and he was clear about how he would go about doing the work. We were impressed that he suggested leaving the old oaks alone for another year or two to save cost and reduce stress to the trees. We agreed to focus on removing the nuisance trees and those where we wanted to make room for new plantings, plus trim and shape the others mentioned. Doug was clear about his schedule and managed our expectations effectively for when he would be able to get the work done. The morning of the day on which the work was scheduled to be performed, I realized that I needed to be at work early. Doug accommodated my schedule and arrived earlier than he had planned to confirm the punch list. He and his team did a terrific job. The yard was neat and clean when I got home and there was no trace of the trees that had been removed. He also did a beautiful job trimming the Mimosa and the pine trees and was careful to shape them so that they really looked great. He also went above and beyond and removed some of the sucker growth on the old oaks at no charge. He even called me that evening to confirm my satisfaction with the work. His quote for the work was very competitive and, in our experience, less than what the other major companies charge for the scope. We were very pleased with the quality and the value of Doug’s services and highly recommend him.

I contacted Ace Tree Service from an Angie's List review. The hedges on our back lot line were very overgrown and needed a good trimming. Doug from Ace came to give an estimate. He walked with me around the yard and listened as I detailed the work that needed to be done. He gave me a written estimate and told me my job would take a half day. His schedule was booked for the next 4 weeks, but he would try to fit me in as soon as possible. A week later, he called to schedule for the next day. He and 2 more gentlemen showed up promptly and got to work. When Doug got into the back hedge, he realized that the chain saw he was using was inadequate for the job, so he left the workers to trim several shrubs around the house while he went to purchase the equipment he needed. He and his team were very thorough and trimmed the hedges better than they have been trimmed in at least 20 years! He also trimmed some areas to meet my husband's request on the spot. They went above and beyond to meet our expectations and left our yard completely clean! I plan to call Ace Tree Service again next year in hopes of keeping our shrubbery looking as magnificent as it does now!

They arrived at my home starting in the back where we had one stump to be removed and finished with removing several other stumps located in various areas in our front yard. They were very professional, courteous, and raked the area not leaving shavings all over the place which made me very happy.
