Came out as soon as they could after calling. Almost 100 year old dump trap failed causing water to overflow from upstairs bath to first floor and basement. Opened ceiling and installed up to code parts/new drain pipes within approximately 5 hours. Very professional. Explained process. Cleaned up after.

Repaired bathroom sink drain. Got indoor gas lines up to code including shutoffs for dryer, stove and hot water tank, connected new dryer and new stove, new kitchen faucet and sprayer.

I called three different companies Sunday night ARS was one of two that actually got back to me the other one said they couldn't get out till Tuesday ARS called me Monday morning and they were out Monday afternoon the tech was here for about an hour and did an excellent job he was friendly and knowledgeable.

I contacted four different plumbers for this job. Only rescue rooter was customer oriented enough to come out to the house, inspect the issue, give a written estimate and then gave me follow up contact. Even gave a discount if my neighbor chose to have the work done too (he did) Two of the others merely gave an oral approximate estimate over the phone, and one never returned my call.

Except for them showing up at 10:00AM instead of between 8:00-8:30AM, the job went well and they did an excellent job. Took longer than the sales rep said it would (8-1 was his estimate) and they; weren't done until close to 5:30PM. Glad they hung in there though and got it done in one day. Polite, courteous and good installers, answering any questions we had. Wouldn't hesitate to use this company again!

Failed to keep scheduled appointment and asked us if they could come the next day. We said yes because we didn't want to start all over. They were about an hour late for the second attempt. They opened a book of OUTRAGEOUS prices and said replacing the gasket in the drain line was very, very complicated. Told us it would be just under $400 and then finished in 40 minutes. Since they were late it wasn't possible to talk with a manager at their headquarters. Since then we've found several contractors prepared to do this work for $150. Because of a service contract they get called first.
