INSANA CHARGED ME $39.95 FOR A DIAGNOSIS AND $19.95 FOR A TRIP CHARGE, PLUS TAX TO EXAMINE MY GAS FURNACE. THE TECHNICIAN MISTOOK MY 24V GAS VALVE FOR A MILLIVOLT GAS VALVE AND DECLARED IT UNREPAIRABLE WITHOUT A $900 UPGRADE TO 24V. A SECOND OPINION REVEALED THE ERROR AND A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE GAS VALVE SYSTEM TO COST ONLY ABOUT $200-$400. CALLS TO INSANA TO REQUEST A REFUND FOR THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE WERE MET WITH RUDENESS AND A LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM.
