It was Terrible, Awful, Horrible. The young tech who came probably hadn't seen an oil fired furnace since school, much less worked on one. He didn't have any materials (oil filter or nozzle) and gave a lame excuse that that each truck couldn't carry all those items.(?) He tried to tried to start the furnace without success and said they would come back at another time. He hadn't brought a replacement filter in with him and I had to ask for that and an invoice for the work. I bought the deal and set an appointment for the next day through AL, although it was about 6:30 PM I tried to call to confirm the appointment. Couldn't get an answer. I called early the next day and they hadn't scheduled the appointment, I wasn't asked any questions except to confirm contact info and set a time. I expressed extreme displeasure to the service rep, I haven't heard back from the company yet. It would some kids are running this Circus.

David White Services has always been prompt, reliable and overall a pleasure to work with!! From the person who answers the phone when I call to the technician that comes to service our home, they are always friendly and helpful to explain every detail to us.

Great. They were professional, friendly and efficient. They even offered us an annual maintenance contract that was very fairly priced, and included the service call retroactively in the contract. Very smart...

Two service techs spent a full day preparing our attic for blowing in R-19 Attic Cat Insulation into our attic to bring the total up to R-38. The techs were very pleasant to work with and did a very good job. Our house was perfectly clean after they finished the job. We are extremely happy with the service we get from David White Services.

Punctual, thorough and professional

All went smoothly. Satisfied with the changeover.

We saw an add in the David White Services news letter that they we now providing duct cleaning services. We called to inquire about the cost and they were able to come the next day to do the duct cleaning. The two service technicians were very pleasant and professional. They removed a lot of dirt from the ducts and left the house very clean. Should have had this done a long time ago.

Service technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and replaced a blown fuse and showed me where to look first next time. He also took the time to checkout the thermocouple and clean it.  I am signing up for scheduled preventive maintenance.

David was friendly and informative and got the job done right and promptly.  He arrived early for his appointment.

We have used David White Services for at least ten years and are thoroughly satisfied.  Their mechanics are not only very well-trained but are professional, polite (they let my husband watch and ask questions!), and clean.  (I love the booties they wear when they come into the house.)  They recommend things we can do to cut down on our heating/cooling bills, such as checking our insulation, and covering a/c ducts.  They suggested a new, more efficient set-back thermostat and installed it at no cost.  If we have questions, they either have or get the answers. 
We are an older couple in a much-older home.  Their annual maintenance program seemed a little expensive when we first signed on but has proven worth every dollar.  If we have a problem, they're here.  (Since we have been with them, we have had very few problems!)  

They are very honest and reliable. Their service people are good. They have been in business for a long time. Their prices are very reasonable.

It is good and I would recommend them. I am under a service plan and pay them monthly, and they fix stuff under that.

The installation jobs have both gone well enough. Jobs were done according to the agreed upon schedule.  I don't feel I was oversold on either system.

Communication was an issue at several points in the process. Even before the deal was finalized, the salesperson was difficult to contact and somewhat unresponsive.

The second system was installed while we were at work. Upon returning home we found the job nearly complete but one vent was not installed at the location called for in the plan and no vent grates were supplied. A bill for the entire amount (less down payment) was discovered sitting on top of the air handler. The bill's terms were Net 10 days. I didn't want to pay until the job was finished and I was leaving for vacation in a couple of days. Getting in touch with someone who could answer my questions about the job was difficult. Once I was able to speak to the installation coordinator, my questions were answered satisfactorily and the job was finished in good time.

The vent grate location had been moved because the installers recognized that the planned location would expose ductwork to weather. This was fine with me but didn't jibe with the salesperson's claim that proper vent placement was an exact science not to be left to lower-priced competing HVAC technicians.
