Thomas Fence is a family-owned and operated business, with a committment to provide quality materials and workmanship. Here at Thomas Fence, we do not use any sub-contract labor for fence erection. All of our employees are trained professions working solely for Thomas Fence. This insures us the utmost control and quality of our wokmanship. We have a fully-equipped welding and fabricating shop where we manufacture swing gates, cantilever gates, overhead slide gates, and custom build dog kennels. Thomas Fence is a full line fence contractor, supplying all types of fencing. We also look forward to supplying the do-it-yourselfer with quality material and expert advice. We service all of Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula, and parts of Cuyahoga counties. With over thirty years of experience in the fence-construction industry, we are fully qualified to take part in any project ranging from residential and commercial, to industrial. They did a nice job, the guys get bonus points for dealing with a Thunderstorm and working in a bit of rain once the storm passed. They were very polite, explained what they were doing and checked in at the end of both days. I will be bringing them back when I am ready to replace the rest of my fence.

The first day went well. The crew had torn down the fence and set the poles for the new fence in less than four hours. The actual installation (on the second day) took roughly 45 minutes to complete. The prices were slightly cheaper than other local competitors. I took a letter off for responsiveness as the date of the job was not communicated until I called them for an update. Additionally, I did not receive a call from the crew letting me know they were on their way. I took a letter off on professionalism because, while the crew did clean up after the job and hauled the old fence away, they left garbage in the poles of the new fence, which cannot be removed without disassembling the fence. I would have provided a garbage bag or trash receptacle had they asked.

They give you a time schedule and they do follow through. They first came out to repair. They then came out to double check and made sure that it had been repaired. They were very persistent. We had spent a lot of money on the fence and they repaired it for free. They are interested in customer satisfaction. As a matter of fact, they called me again to make sure that I was satisfied with their product. My overall experience was very good. I would use them again in the future.

It went well overall. It was a fairly small job for them , so there was some uncertainty about scheduling as they tried to fit us in around bigger jobs. I was very pleased with the response regarding a post that had sme cracking issues. They were out within 48 hours to replace it with a new one.

At our first meeting, Drew Thomas arrived on time and gave a very accurate quote. We were informed quickly about a delay due to our request for non-standard height. When the material was available the work was started in a timely manner. The 2-man crew arrived on time, were extremely polite and professional, put in a full day's work, and kept the area neat and safe. When they realized that a flowerbed was possibly in the way, they discussed options with us and even hauled away some extra bedding material at no extra charge. The one day that the crew was unable to come we were notified early in the morning so I didn't have to wait around. The yard was cleaned up and left in great condition.

We were not really sure about designs and it was a great help to have Drew Thomas come to the house and discuss options and estimates. Installation days were very good, since they use only their own teams of employees/installers and do NOT subcontract! We are very pleased and get many compliments.
