Have fiberglass and blown-in insulation in my attic. Losing heat, and ice dams and large icicles forming on 2nd story roof edge and gutter. Mr. Macey from North Shore Roofing, came right away to my home and pointed out that there is too much of the fiberglass insulation and too much of the blown-in insulation installed by another contractor. The attic could not breathe, thus allowing the ice to form and grow out of control. Appointment scheduled in the next few days for him to remove some insulation and to pull back the blown-in stuff from where the attic floor meets the roof edge on the inside of the attic. Mr. Macey has done other work for me at other locations for many years now and he is always prompt, always honest, and his knowledge of various roofing systems and the proper ways to install and maintain them is the broadest and deepest that I've ever seen in any contractor. Other contractors don't even come close to his extremely high level of knowledge and skills. The quality of his work is always A #1!
