The cat had broke its leg and it was in a cast for like 4 months. The last time we were there they took the cast off. We have been using them since 1999. They do have call service at night for emergency care. which is really nice.

I had just moved to town and needed to find a veterinarian to examine my cat who LOVES to eat clear, heavy-duty packing tape and now has acquired a taste for bubble wrap. Though I tried to keep him away from the tape and plastic, it was almost impossible during the packing and unpacking. When I noticed a large hunk of bubble wrap missing from a wrapped mirror, I knew I had to get him to a vet. He has already had extensive surgery to remove a blockage caused by electrical tape, ingested before I adopted him. I didn't want him (or my wallet!) to go through such major surgery again. He also has a potentially fatal heart problem, and I was curious to get her opinion about his future.The experience was absolutely wonderful! Dr. Yoakum and her assistant were very gentle and patient with my loudly complaining kitty.After a very careful exam, she recommended we take x-rays to see if anything looked abnormal.When she came back with the x-rays, she explained exactly what she saw in terms I could understand. The x-rays were large and clear and gave us both a good baseline for future visits. Although his heart is noticeably enlarged, she talked to me realistically about possible outcomes of his HCM. Ordering his prescription kibble is also very easy at this clinic, as they have an Internet site where each animal's special needs or conditions can be easily monitor by the animal's caretaker. I didn't fill out whether the cost was reasonable, because I have no way of knowing what is a reasonable charge for the exam and x-rays is. I do know that Dr. Yoakum took much more time with me than many vets have in the past, and I was very willing to pay for the valuable information she shared.
