J Comberger Custom Remodeling

I gave Jeff a down payment of 1800 dollars on 3/25/2013. He then didnt start the project for over a month. Once he started working he was never on time and would rarely show up. He would not call and inform me if he was coming and if by chance he picked up when I called he would have some extravagant excuse. We are now 4 months into the project and he has milked me for 100% of the contracted price. Now he wont pick up or return my calls(go figure). He also stole my personal tools that total up to 300-400 hundred dollars. Before leaving he took all the remaining materials that were in my garage so I have to rebuy them to complete the project. I am currently prosueing criminal charges for the theif and a small claims case for breach of contract. My lawyer has now informed me that he does have a felony charge for theift and advised me to change my locks and garage code. Jeff is extremely sneaky. He puts up a great front and does great work. Don't let him fool you with this. This has become a contractor from h*** and now we have exceeded our budget by having someone finish the project.
