ELITE FLOORING & COUNTER TOPS

Other than a slight delay in arriving, the job went superbly!  This was definitely the best carpet installation I have ever had.  The installers did a very thorough job of removing the old carpet and padding, and as many staples as possible, especially on the stairs.  The installation was extremely neat and clean, with an obvious attention to detail that I had not seen before.  The seams are perfect, and where the new carpet terminated at either bathroom tile or other bedrooms, the seams/transitions were done very neatly and precise.  They were at my house nine hours and never seemed like they were more concerned about getting done and out rather than getting the job done, and done right.  The lead installer took the time to explain how he chose to detail the exposed edge on the stairs so that it would give the best look.  I just couldn't be happier with the job they did.  Thank you so much!

I will definitely go to Elite Flooring when it's time to replace the carpet in the remaining bedrooms, which I hope is fairly soon.

Having used their services previously, we again went to Elite Flooring & Countertops for additional rooms of new flooring. At our request they were able to install an uncut sheet of vinyl in our kitchen, down the hallway and into our first floor bathroom. That is a large U-shaped seamless installation.  It looks fantastic.  No metal strips to trip over in the doorways .  Again the workers were friendly and professional. They removed old vinyl squares, repaired breaks in the subfloor, and created a smooth level subfloor. I would recommend this company to everyone.

To save money we chose to remove all furniture ourselves. We also chose to remove the old carpeting ourselves. That made the cost of flooring and installation $1201.75 for our 343.2 sq ft room. We also had two steps to cover. We soon discovered that the professionally installed carpeting was difficult to remove, so the day before Elite Flooring was scheduled to arrive, I called to ask if they could add removal to the contract. Once we saw how much effort it took to remove all those staples, the $95.76 added for removal of the old carpeting and the heavy duty padding as well as some of the older glued tiles under the padding was money well spent! The workers went right to work. They were courteous and professional. Our room is an addition that was built around some outside obstacles so it is a long rectangle with a two foot wide indent halfway along one long side. There are three closets and the two steps up into the main house. So there are a lot of corners to cut out. They managed to do the room in one piece! It looks great. Unfortunately in December, the cold temperatures (no basement under the addition, only a crawl space) caused a long narrow bubble to appear in the floor along what is probably a seam in the addition. One call to Elite Flooring and they sent a crew out to fix it. Again the cold air caused the bubble to form. A second call and the crew returned promptly and worked on the problem bubble using a different approach. We have gone through a record breaking sub zero temperatures week recently and the flooring is still flat. We have already had Elite flooring measure our kitchen, hallway, and bathroom to have them install flooring as soon as we pick out what we want.
