Green Scoop 'Pet Waste Removal & Recycling'

Green Scoop provided this service for our home for several years and we were always very pleased with them. Friendly, hard working (dirty job too!), consistent, reasonably priced. We only stopped because our beloved pet passed away. We will definitely get this service again when we get another pup.

It has been great so far. The first week I requested the person come to the door and meet my pets and she was so nice. Since then we don't even know the person is there (in a good way) other than a nice clean yard. I had a question that I emailed to the owner and she got back to me quickly.

Great! Business owner Jen is wonderful. And I felt great about doing something positive for the environment.

Very nice service! Simple to use--simply fill the buckets and leave them for pick up every two weeks. Jen is super-nice and sends reminder emails, which I really appreciate.

Prompt, professional and thorough. Happy to have this chore done weekly and pleased that the waste is not in a landfill. Cost is monthly for weekly service.

I have used them and I have no complaints. There was an additional $10 and I'm not sure why. The people seemed very nice. They responded very quickly. We are on a monthly service now, $40 a month.

Beginning 7/18, has been at my home at about the same time every Friday. He lets himself into my backyard from outside even though it's locked. He asked for permission to use our lawn chair to reach over and unlock the fence from the inside (we provided the lock code) so he wouldn't have to be let in from the house and can just come and go and locks up when he leaves. How convenient! He's super nice and gets along with my 4 dogs great, even when the shepherd barks at him. He simply ignores him. We try to keep him inside now. He does a great scan of my large backyard and does a thorough clean up each time. Thank you so much for such a great service that my family really appreciates! :-)

We could not get all of the cats to used the new litter.  Unfortunately, when you have 6 cats, majority rules and we had to discontinue service.  But although I was not able to continue with the service, I would refer any of my friends .

Fantastic service. Our yard was disgusting after the winter and I called on and found a hole in their schedule where they were out promptly. I don't even want to mention how quick because I wouldn't want to set that expectation. Very friendly and worth every penny.

I have used them for about a year and I am really pleased.  They have always picked up and left a clean bucket on time.  I am grateful that this service exists so that all my cat waste does not go into the trash, but is converted to compost or energy.

I appreciate having my dog's waste go to energy and/or composting rather than going to the landfill. Green Scoop has always shown up when they say they will.  They deliver products timely (I get the poop bags for times I need them other than picking up poo in the back yard.)  The cans are cleaned every time they do a pick up.  I couldn't be happier with the service and the cost is extremely reasonable.

Super. I purchased an Angie's list Big Deal. I spoke to Jendell, the owner, before I purchased the deal to make sure I understood how the service would work and discuss frequency of visits. She was more than happy to answer all my questions. I was incredibly happy with the service - she didn't skip a beat. I like that the waste is turned in to energy instead of ending up in a landfill. I decided to continue with the bucket service after my deal was over.

I just kind of like the concept. He's an A type of guy. I was very inconsistent on picking up the backyard and so the kids were always complaining about not being able to play in the backyard so I finally decided to go out and hire somebody to do it and he came out, gave us a quote and everything was great and the fact that they basically reuse the waste and are very eco friendly and green, it seems like a good concept to go with.

Green Scoop is extremely professional and is very proactive with winter weather (which I'm guessing they would also be with stormy rain weather).  We've had more than enough snow this year, and due to snow storms they contacted me automatically to let me know when they would be out,.  Always rescheduling when weather would be more conducive to find all the "poop bombs" my dogs can leave.  Sometimes rescheduling meant they came out on Sunday's.  I hired them because it was very difficult for me at time(s) to keep up with cleaning the yard with two golden retrievers.  Unfortunately, one has passed very young and I won't be needing to use Green Scoop at this time. I will be able to keep up with the one dog.

I am very pleased with all aspects of this service and have recommended it to several friends and neighbors.

I've never been one for letting someone else pick up my doggie doo's, but I saw an article in the paper about how Green Scoop composts and recycles what they pick up. I'd always felt a bit guilty about just throwing it into the trash, so I contacted them.
They are just expanding to my part of town (they also do the weekly pickup so you don't have to do it...that wasn't available in this area yet).  They offered the twice a month pickup which works perfectly for me.
They contacted me within one hour of my email to them asking about the service. It was very clear they were very well informed and passionate about the business and getting it going.  I decided to go with them. The next day they dropped off everything I needed (the tub with the liner - you never do a thing except fill it up...they change it after dumping). They also offered dog walking bags that could be thrown into the bucket also, so nothing is missed.
I get an email right before they come as well as periodic updates about any changes/additions they are offering.  They have always picked up on the day promised, even in very nasty weather. I really don't even know they have been here until I go to make a "deposit" in the tub and it's empty.  They are quick and efficient.
I pay quarterly, which works out perfectly for me. 
What a great way to keep this out of the landfills!!!
