I had a conversation with the owner and he said he would get back with me and that never happened. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise. I got ahold of a different excavation company and everything worked out great.

I contacted Crabtree in late August or early September of 2005. The owner responded quickly and came out to provide an estimate. He cautioned that he was busy and that it may be a while until he could do the job. After a month, I called to see if we could set a date. I called several times after that as well - at least once a month. Every time I called he informed me that he had just been preparing to contact me and that there had been another set-back in his schedule but that he'd be getting to the job any day now.
Finally, at the end of December I gave up. I called to let him know that I no longer needed his service. He told me that he had planned to purchase the materials for my job the very next day. I told him "no thanks anyway".
