I called several roofers on your "A" list , some make appointments never showed up or called back, some said they had a back log and could not not fit me in until 4 weeks or the spring. All the companies listened  to my problem seemingly to gage if it would be worth their time. I called Wooster Roofing on thursday at 430pm and they were at my house friday morning at 0825am.

They did job and were really nice.  They were knowledgeable about roofing and other things around the house.

It went terrible.  Original installation was in December, 2003.  Ice guard was not properly applied and was left off in places.  Roofing paper was not flat.  There were gaps in the wood sheathing they installed.  Shingles were improperly applied.  Drip edge was damaged in places and had gaps at joints.  Shingles on corners were not properly trimmed.  I photographed the job part way through and filed a complaint as soon as the job was done.   In the Spring I renewed my complaint with the company due to the various problems I documented and a number of leaks that had occurred.  The company agreed to completely remove the first job and reroof.  That was done.  However, after the second job I found additional examples of poor workmanship.  I corrected what I saw myself. During a wind storm in 2011 a strip of shingles blew off.  I contacted a different company to make repairs.  They pointed out several problems they saw with the roofing job and repaired them at a very small charge ($250 to replace the shingles and do the other repairs).  However, my wife overheard one of the workers remark to another that the roofing that had been done was "a bad job".  I give the company credit for replacing the original job without question after I documented the problems.  However, the work crews both times did terrible jobs.

My interaction with them was good. There wasn't any need for me to be here. They just came in, did the work and did a very good job. I would use them again in the future.

The work is okay. They put down a blue tarp which was gone before dark due to the terrible wind. They put the tarp back on the next day and they came back in a few days to put the roof back on in very deep snow. By the time summer came, the roof was raised and I had to call them back to fix it. I had to call three different times before someone was able to come out to fix it, but they did fix it. They have a lot of independent people working for them. The whole area was getting their roofs and siding done. They did clean up after themselves and they were courteous, but I would not use this company in the future.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A FAILURE OUT OF MY SYSTEM, WHICH IS IMPORTANT IF YOUR SYSTEM FAILS ON THE COLDEST OR HOTTEST DAY OF THE YEAR.

CAME OUT TO DO TEMPORARY REPAIR, BUT DID NOT FOLLOW UP WITH PERMANENT REPAIR. DID NOT COME AT REQUEST FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE.
