Mortgage Companies
It was a mess for no real reason. Buyer, seller and both agents agree they have never experienced this lack of professionalism. The transaction was held up several times by the underwriter asking for more information. We understand information is needed and were willing to provide it, but this was very piecemeal. Every few days, just when everyone thought we were set to close, they would ask for something else. We finally had to insist that they give us a list of all the documents they wanted and questions they wanted to be answered. One of the agents had to contact the vice president and insist on special attention to the matter since we had been postponed so many times. If the real estate agents in this transaction had not been vigilant who knows how long it would have taken. We have bought and sold several times. This was by far the worst lender experience.
