There were two different technicians involved in this prolonged fiasco. The first said the unit was leaking refrigerant and he added a dye to trace the leak. He said they would call the following week. They did not. We called them the next week. The receptionist said she did not know there was to be a followup appointment. A different technician came and thought he knew what part was leaking. It was ordered. When it arrived, the first technician came and installed it. After a few days the unit stopped working. The second technician came out and told us there was a hole in the coil and that the other technician must have caused it when he put in the other part. He said "I'll have to hit him upside the head." We thought he was being honest although not very professional. He said they would take care of it Monday. Of course TC didn't call. When we called we were told they couldn't possibly come out until Friday. They did not keep that appointment or call. When someone came the following Monday, it was the technician whom we were told broke the coil. Then he informed us that he brought the wrong sized coil. He also said we would have to pay for the labor and it was a 3 to 5 hour job. We refused to pay labor since we were told that he had broken the coil. He denied responsibility. We asked him to bring us the proper size coil and leave it. We would pay someone else to install it. So he returned with a huge box and left it. We figured it contained a lot of packing to protect the coil. Someone from a different company came out and removed the coil from the box. The coil was much too tall to fit the space and was a 4 ton rather than a 3 1/2 ton. TC had planned to cut apart the duct work and force it in. The manufacturer was not making the specific coil that came with this 3 year old system. TC insisted that the oversized coil they brought was the one recommended by the manufacturer. The representative from the new company we hired located a 3 1/2 ton universal coil that fit the space and installed it two days later. So on June 29 we had a working air conditioner again. We also have a brand new 4 ton coil we can't use. We are out the money it took to purchase and install a new coil. We are very sorry that we trusted Trusted Comfort.

I called the office at 8:30 a.m.  They told me the repairman would call when he was on his way, and he did.  Quickly figured out what was wrong, and fixed it.  He was here just about half an hour.  This company installed our furnace, we have had routine maintenance from them, a few repairs from them, and will continue to call them when we need furnace help!

I called on Friday evening about my furnace.  My furnace was 44 years old and needed to be replaced. They were very informative about their products and helped me pick one.  They even helped me with financing! 

I scheduled the appointment for Monday morning.  They came to my house promptly on Monday morning at 9:00 am. They brought heaters with them because they thought I might get cold while they removed the old furnace and replaced it with a new one. They were very polite and tidy.  I told them that they didn't have to clean up after they were finished but they picked up anyway.   They were completely finished by 1:00 pm. My house was warm and spotless when they left. 

They replaced the motor in the furnace.  They presented me with a bill for $76, which I refused to pay because of the warrranty.  The company hung up on me when I called them to come back out and fix the motor, promptly after the technician left.  The motor was wired incorrectly and it took the other company I called to come fix their issue about 90 seconds to solve the problem.  I think this company knew it was wired incorrectly and wanted me to pay for the service call.  They never tested to make sure the furnace would run after their motor installation.    It was not good customer service at all and would not recommend their services.

I contacted them around 12:25 today and they said they could have someone here between 2:00 & 4:00. They did much better than that..."Justin" phoned me at 1:10 PM & said he would be here in 20 minutes...and he was early! When I described what the unit was doing ( and not doing..) he said he thought it might be the capacitor & he was right. He was pleasant, professional & even looked at the furnace as well & replaced our air filter & disposed of the old one for me. I was very pleased overall.

Did a decent job, inspected all of the major components of my system.  Wish they would have replaced my furnace filter though--should have been included in the job.

I only called yesterday and was given a range of 9:00-11:00 today.

Justin, the technician, called at 9:00 to let us know he was on his way and arrived exactly when he said he would.  He was polite and friendly and got right to work.  When he finished he gave us a bill with all details of what he did hand written on it. 

I would hire them for additional work without hesitation.

They are very efficient. They told us exactly what was wrong and they fixed it. Overall they were good.

They were very punctual and professional. The installation took the whole day. Cleaned up the debris and took the old furnace and air conditioner with them.

I HAVE USED THEM BEFORE AND THEY GAVE ME THE BEST PRICE AND GREAT SERVICE. IT TOOK THEM TWO DAYS TO DO THE WORK AND THE QUOTE WAS RIGHT ON.

Former company that had installed these furnaces and serviced them for 16 years went out of business, so had to find a new company. Halstead has a two-page add in the local (Akron area) Yellow Pages that was informative. So I called them and set up an appointment for a routine annual check-up. They were prompt and efficient, and eliminated a problem on one furnace that had been bugging us for a long time.
