He did move it, and he sent me a bill for the skylight - included in the bill was installation. He charged me another $375 for moving. I sent him a check minus the $375 for moving it. And I wrote on the check "paid in full." He has yet to cash my check. He's sending me bills and charging me interest. He wrote me one letter that says, "You located the position of the skylight. I am not, nor do I claim to be a carpenter. My expertise is in installation on the roof level and flashing thereof."
Description of Work: I live in a condo. The do roofing for the association. I had him install a skylight. During installation he left a truss exposed (he didn't say anything about how cutting a truss would weaken a roof). When I was trying to get somebody to come in to drywall the shaft they didn't want to touch it. I called the company who made the truss and they also told me not to cut the truss. A consultant told me the same thing and that I should have to have the roofer come out to fix it. I was told that it should've been cut between the trusses. I didn't know, I was just depending on him to know what he was doing.
