The rooms Mark and his grandson completed for us look AMAZING! I met with James for the quote initially and he was very kind and courteous, explained how the project would be approached and answered all of my many questions. We had just moved into the home the weekend after prep/demo work was completed and Mark and his grandson were very communicative and conscientious about what work would be taking place that day and cleaning up at the end of each day, which we greatly appreciated as we were living and working remotely downstairs while they primarily worked upstairs. I greatly appreciated how knowledgable, skillful, and personable everyone from Rubber City Drywall was - it is a great family-owned business and we hope to hire them again soon!

From the time I first met James, the owner of Rubber City Drywall, until the work was started and finished by his talented Father, Doug, I was really impressed by the dedication to customer satisfaction that was showed by both of these Gentlemen. Doug showed up all 5 days he was in my home on time, went right to work, and make my walls look like new. I would highly recommend this Company to anyone looking for drywall repair. Their fees were quite reasonable and they fit my small job right into their busy schedule. They treat you like family, their prices are reasonable, and they get the job done beautifully. What more could you ask for?

Rubber City Drywall is the absolute best contractor I have ever worked with and we have worked with many, building 5 homes over the years and doing many large remodeling projects. James, the owner and founder is super nice, super organized and very communicative. When he says he will be there, he is there! His father and step son are part of the crew and it is a great family run business. We loved them all. They were very neat and cleaned up meticulously. Dad sands so well it was dustless. At the end of the job I gave JAMES a big hug as he had become a good friend over the time he spent on my project.

Rubber City Drywall tore down my damaged ceiling, hauled away and replaced. The price was fair and the time estimate was spot on. They protected all the walls and floor, and the finished product was perfect. James and Dad were friendly and knowledgeable, and I would recommend them.

They were great. James, his father and son worked well together. They were on time everyday and kept me updated each morning of what they hoped to get done and then before they left they would tell me what they planned on getting done the next day. They did such a good job I hired them to drywall my rec room in my basement. I highly recommend them.

James and associates did an excellent job and the walls and ceiling look great! James was great to work with. The crew showed up when promised, kept me informed throughout the job, and took care to keep the area as neat and clean as possible. There was one section where texture had to be blended to match the stairway walls and James made it look great! Highly recommended.

James Sellers and crew were first class from the beginning. James thoroughly explained what he intended to do and executed it expertly. The end result were incredibly smooth ceilings with no hint of previous texture. I honestly was astounded at what he was able to do. On a separate note, we were having wallpaper removed at the same time. After taking the paper down, a few problem areas came to light. Even though this wasn't what we hired James to do, he patched these trouble spots and put our minds at ease, preparing the walls for easy painting. And finally, he returned a few days after the main work was done (on a weekend) to patch a few additional areas at no additional cost. I cant imagine a better person to work with or entrust with a drywall/plaster project. He is honest, prompt and a man of his word.

The service and professionalism were great. I had thought my ceiling could not be fixed before speaking with James, but it looks better than it ever did. James, his father and his son did all the work. They were very polite and arrived on time every morning. They even moved my furniture from my attic to my sun porch for me and told me after it was painted and the carpet was installed they would come back and move it back upstairs if I needed them to. He would explain every day what they would be doing and tell me at the end of the day how much progress they had made. He told me it would take approximately 10 working days to complete the work and it took them 8 1/2. They are great workers and when they were finished we did a walk through and it looks great! I thought the price was very fair because my upstairs includes the walls going up the stairs, a hallway, a bedroom and the eaves which were also insulated.

My overall experience with James was excellent. After various contractors did not return phone calls or fail to provide a estimate, we got a recommendation to call James at Rubber City Drywall. Not only did James pick up the phone when I called but came out first thing the next morning to give an estimate. Regarding the work, I needed drywall installed over an existing plaster ceiling butted up against the existing crown molding. James did exactly what he said he was going to do - when he said he was going to do it. James completed project within the tight time frame that I needed. The quality of his work is excellent. I would recommend Rubber City Drywall to anyone needing a drywall project completed.

James first came to look at damage. Provided several options with approximate cost for each. We agreed on the work that needed to be done. James gave us a day and time that he would return and also a price he would charge for the job.
