Consumer Alert!! Buyer beware!! This spring we hired Roofsmith to install a new roof on our building. A condition of the contract was the manufacturer would need to stop out to the job site to inspect and certify the installation in order to receive the warranty. Roofsmith never had the manufacture inspect and certify as promised. The roof leaked within a few weeks of installation. As a result, we started to increase the frequency and intensity in which we requested the roof to be properly certified. We received excuse after excuse with no action taken. We began to contact the manufacturer directly and we discovered that Roofsmith did not use the materials that we contracted to install. They pulled a classic bait and switch scam with inferior grade products. We are now in the process of litigation with Roofsmith because of their faulty workmanship, false claims and fraudelant acts. They were very efficient. However, they damaged my gutters and have not followed up regarding this. This job was in excess of $50,000 and was paid in full when the invoice was presented. We found many nails in our flower beds as well as in our yard.

From the initial contact with Roofsmith, Nate was absolutely wonderful to work with. Initially I contacted him to have some missing fascia and soffit replaced. After further communication regarding the roof, he completed an inspection, reviewed the results with me, helped with claim filing, and kept me informed of the schedule. He was great to work with, explained the process thoroughly, and answered all my questions. The roof was completed in one day and looks fantastic. I definitely recommend Roofsmith and am using them again for a roof replacement on another property.

During the initial meeting when we received our estimate and up until the day we signed our contract, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Mike and his company. He had lots of information to pass along, plenty of "5 stars" and "A Ratings" with documentation to prove it. Lots of wonderful talk and paperwork showing how important his clients were to the success of his company. Once we signed our contract everything began to go downhill. It took more than 3 months to get the new roof put on (was told no more than 4 weeks, weather did play some of a roll in this so we didn't hold a grudge over it). However, they came and installed an entire new roof and tear down in one day while my wife and I were at work, no notification they were coming or working at the house that day. No chance for us to see what it looked like below the shingles, no chance to meet his subcontractors, no chance to take the dogs somewhere for the day. The very first rain came just a few days later, we had 2 new leaks. Mike wouldn't return our phone calls and it took another 8 weeks for them to come out and fix the damage (on the outside, we were responsible for all the new damage inside the home). Another 5 months went by, playing phone tag and exchanging text messages with Mike. We were continually told we were next on the docket for gutters. Finally we cut our losses and hired another company to do it instead. No apology, no coverage for new damages, and overall a terrible experience that I would not hope for any homeowner. In the year and half since, we have had to do more repairs on our "new" roof, and rather than use our warranty we have paid to have someone else come and work on our home. Our money deserved to have gone elsewhere.

I highly recommend RoofSmith Restorations for replacing your roof. Joe Hardy walked us thru the entire process and worked with our insurance company to ensure we were treated fairly. Joe was with our insurance adjuster for the entire inspection process. The crew was professional, they protected all our landscaping and our new deck during the entire process. They totally cleaned up after themselves and you would never know they were there the next day. On the final inspection they noticed a problem with our electrical connection to the house, which we fixed immediately. They went above and beyond in their service to us.

Very positive experience. the crew finished the roof in little more than one day. They were careful with the landscaping and cleaned everything up when they were done. The roof looks great. The salesman Joe Hardy was great. He worked with out insurance company to get us this roof. He was courteous and always available to answer questions.

Jason Regec was an outstanding insurance specialist and roofing project manager. He handled everything through my insurance company and got our roof siding and gutters replaced for free. His knowledge about current industry standards, and his patience with me and my questions was phenomenal! Roofsmith replaced our roof last year after getting the insurance company to pay for the replacement. We were very pleased with the quality of work as well as the cleanup. Also Daniel was great to work with. Very helpful and informative!

Our Roofsmith Restoration Representative (Joe) handled basically everything as far as calling our insurance company and meeting with the insurance adjuster. Overall, everything went very smooth and we would highly recommend - great experience. In fact, we have already referred our Roofsmith Restoration Representative (Joe) to neighbors and family. Only compliant would be the roof cleanup was pretty sloppy and wasn't as thorough as we would have liked. However, Joe did return to run the magnet over our yard one last time to find any leftover nails/staples.

The salesman came out to the house the same day we called and quoted the job. He was very professional. We hired them and the guys came out in less than 2 weeks and put up our gutters. They were awesome! Highly recommend the company for gutters. We had some disconnect with trying to call the office. One day the phone said it was disconnected for over 4 hours. We were told that the phone is through the internet and it happens without them knowing. They are able to call out still and are unaware until someone tells them. When we couldn't get ahold of them we contacted them on Facebook and received a call back shortly after. Definitely will use them again!

Horrible , 30% of our new roof needs to be redone

Due to the bad winter of 2014-15, many shingles blew off and the roof needed replacement. The old roof was 20 year Owens Corning shingles that lasted 27 years. I had called for estimates and 2 other providers came out, inspected the roof, and sent me a quote. The  RR rep, Tuon came out, inspected the roof and said that I should file an insurance claim first and have the insurance company pay some or all of the new roof and created a quote. I was skeptical, but looked into it. I am very happy I received claim money for part of the roof and I researched RR and decided to go with them for customer satisfaction and they were actually the best price. The crew was Amish, started at 7:30 AM and was finished and completely cleaned up (never found one nail or scrap around the house) by 2:30PM the same day, 30 square installation. The roof was done perfectly, the neighbors were amazed by the speed and quality as was I. I highly recommend Roofsmith Restoration.

Roof work was fine. The only problem is that issues between the company and suppliers resulted in a mechanics lien being placed on my property even though I had paid in full and it has yet to be resolved.

Wow.  They showed up on time.  They cleaned up after themselves every day, not just when they were finished. But best of all, the finished job just looks amazing.  Way better than we even pictured.  We are only using this company to do work for us in the future as long as it is something that they do.
