He came and spent a couple hours tuning my upright 1920 piano. Several tuners in the area no longer do uprights anymore. He seemed very thorough, and got the job done. Call several weeks ahead of when you need it done, as he is very busy

My piano was in bad shape. It had not been tuned in 30 years and the pedals did not work. Chester took the time to find everything wrong with the piano and put together a complete estimate. He cautioned me that I would likely be able to find a used piano for the price I was spending to fix this piano. I appreciate his honesty. All in all, Chester has put a lot of time into our piano. I did not get competitive bids for the piano work, however I know that he has spent the better part of a few days working on the piano in our home and that he took part of the piano home to work on it and it was clearly tedious work lovingly done. The piano plays well now and we are enjoying it.

He is very dedicated to what he does and I am very happy with his work. He usually spends about an hour and a half or more on each piano. I have recommended him to friends of ours and they have been equally happy with him!
