Description of Work: Tuned, repaired a 1928 baby grand. Repaired keys, adjusted hammer action and tuned the piano. Spent 2 1/2 hours. Very intent on accuracy and thoroughness of his work. Very happy with the results.

 + -1 moreMy piano was in bad shape. It had not been tuned in 30 years and the pedals did not work. Chester took the time to find everything wrong with the piano and put together a complete estimate. He cautioned me that I would likely be able to find a used piano for the price I was spending to fix this piano. I appreciate his honesty. All in all, Chester has put a lot of time into our piano. I did not get competitive bids for the piano work, however I know that he has spent the better part of a few days working on the piano in our home and that he took part of the piano home to work on it and it was clearly tedious work lovingly done. The piano plays well now and we are enjoying it.
Description of Work: An old piano was repaired and tuned. 3 inoperable pedals, felt thingys hitting the wrong strings, dead keys, broken strings, you name it.
