They were extremely friendly and knowledgable. First rate all the way. The house did not get dusty at all. The floors look fabulous. They are one of the very few contractors/providers that I've been pleased with lately. Their work was impeccable. I've very OCD, and they did a stellar job. I highly recommend them to anyone. I'm just bummed we couldn't get the rest of he floors done.

Estimates were given for doing the job all at once or in 2 sections.  I went for the first option.
All the furniture had to be removed and the closets emptied.  They put up a barrier between kitchen and dinette that worked pretty well.  Sanding took a couple days and dust was collected each day.  The stain dried overnight, then the first coat of urethane the next day and finished up on day 5.  The workmen were courteous and efficient.  I felt comfortable leaving them in the house while I ran errands or went to the Y.  The work went right up to the baseboards and there was very little touchup to do afterwards.  The smell of urethane is very strong and stung my eyes for the first couple days; an excuse to eat out.  The cat liked neither the noise nor the smell and wouldn't come out of the basement for 2 weeks.
Walls, woodwork, and shelving in closets had to be swept to remove sawdust.  Made for a great Fall Cleaning opportunity.  The main rooms and hallways were painted and the furniture came back in 12/08.  Slowly, the place is getting back to rights.  It's like having a new house.  The floors are absolutely beautiful and I love hearing the comments of my friends.  And they came in at the estimate, plus two new thresholds I asked for while the workmen were here.  Glad I had it done.
