To begin with, Marc (owner of Pride Exteriors) stole our $2k down payment to install a fence. We took him to Barberton Muni (small claims) and won judgment against Pride Exteriors. Additionally, he's been sued in numerous other courts in the area (Summit County, Akron Muni) Needless to say, we are still waiting for him to pay the judgement we were awarded. He has little actual DIY skills. He did do a little bit of work on our job before running away with our money. To start he was to move some dirt for us and it was comicial to watch this idiot from our house. He loaded this trailer full of dirt, not paying attention to the load it was putting on his truck and about ruined the suspension on it. He also got stuck in the yard and rutted it all out without ever fixing any of it. The 4-5 fence posts he did dig for the project were not even straight nor was the distance between them even, not sure if he can count or use a tape measure. A few years ago he had numerous bad reviews on the BBB site (including ours) but those appear to fall away after a few years. One of the reviews mentioned that he had stolen money from an elderly cancer patient. We will likely never see our money but, I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else.
