Nichols Fence

Job went very well completed in one day. Cleaned up as they went along fence looks very nice I will have Nichols back out to do more fence work next spring. 10 year warranty on material and installation also fence is made in the USA very nice product.

From my initial meeting with Patty, to my interaction with Jordan, to the installers, it was a easy process. Patty made suggestions that was so helpful, Jordan helped me with questions and everyone was very professional including the hard working installers.

We had the fence installed so our doggies could have some freedom, one is an escape artist and Nichols installed both the vinyl and chain link right on the ground. They were meticulous about keeping the bottom of all parts snug to the ground. Little idiot dog has yet to find a suitable escape route. They were on time once started and stayed on budget.

They were very receptive and professional.  As we had multiple delays with the pool company and installation of the pool, the Nichols fence representatives were very understanding and patient.  They worked with us every step of the way and kept us in the loop as to what was going on.

First class service, professionalism, on time, cleaned up all debris and left lawn like new.  Clearly explained all work in advance and followed up after completion.  I would recommend them highly.

Our neighborhood used Nichols Fence for the pool fence, so we decided to do the same in our backyard. Patty came out to quote the fence, which we knew would be expensive because we have a large backyard. We decided on black aluminum because it blends in very nicely with the environment. The biggest hassle was waiting on the permits, but that was more city-related than company-related. Once the permits were ready, Nichols came in and had the fence up in two days. It looks beautiful and the team was very professional and efficient.

Showed up on time.  They were quick and efficient, although it did take a little longer than expected because he was training a new hire.  Installed the fence, went over the product with me, trained my dog and went over training with me.  Overall very good experience.

To start with, we were recommended to Nichols Fence from another AngiesList fencing contractor.  Our job was out of their area and they knew that we would be looked after by Nichols Fence.  How right they were!
I obtained three quotations for the job and Nichols Fence were the cheapest quote.  I do not always go for the cheapest option but I just felt that their service was more professional even in the early quotation stage.  
What I did not know at the start was that we had various easements over our property which would cause a lot of discussion, even on a legal basis.  All the way through the process Patty and Jim kept us fully informed and also amended the plans many times to keep us within local planning guidelines.
By the end of Jim's negotiations (with our City planners) he took it upon himself to design us a completely bespoke piece of fencing to keep within the easement orders.  He could easily have thrown in the towel many, many times but he went far beyond the call of duty for his customers.  
The installation finally occurred when planned and within the timescale they promised.  Excellent.
We have already recommended him to our parents and would not hesitate in recommending them to you.  They are conscientious, courteous, professional and darned good value.
I thank them on our children's behalf for making their play area safe and nice.

They did an excellent job making the aluminum fence bend to the terrain of the yard. He really did an excellent job with the install. Their pricing was very fair. The sales person came out and she was very knowledgeable and took all the measurements. She emailed me a couple times with any questions. It took them two days to do the install. Just an all around very good company. They got back to me within 24 hours if I had any questions. He was very polite and neat.

It is a great company. We had used a previous company for the invisible fence but we graded and switched because their service is so much better. We feel they are so much more honest and upfront with their prices. The other company would give a range. We have recommended them to 3 other neighbors that have used them.

I had the slab replaced at the same time. The representatives who came out to the house were very nice. They were recommended to me by my daughter. They came out, did their stuff and worked out perfect. They are reliable and they are conscientious about the work they do. We matched the reps as much as we could rather than being a pure wait. I even took out like a ninety day loan and paid off in time with no problems. I was thinking of getting a fence and I did call them but when I was getting the prices for the fences, I thought it was not in our budget for sure.

Overall, the experience was great. I couldn't be more pleased. The employees were wonderful with my dog, very patient. They also explained everything thoroughly about the fence as well. Their price was great. I'm happy with their services.

There was no mention that Dogwatch had installed other fences in our immediate neighborhood. I can't say enough nice things about the man that did the installation. He was prompt, friendly, and even went over the actual fence lines. He looked around the neighborhood and told me about the jobs they had done. By telling me that, he reinforced that I had made the right decision by going with DogWatch. I also decided to enlarge the area (we own a vacant yard and have a stream) and with his help came up with a new area. Glad I made the decision. Since I changed the area, he asked if he could come back and do the installation on Saturday. Found out it was even his day off. He asked if his son could come help him, since it was Saturday and he was dealing with a stream. That was a win - win for everyone.

The job was done over three years, the price was exactly as the estimate, in spite of the time span! The fence project required installation of the aluminum fence in a densely wooded back lot, with lots of tree roots and obstacles. The crews were professional, punctual and did excellent work. The process of digging the post holes, was challenging and was the material handling. The teams took steps to protect the turf grass and cleaned the mud off of the fence when finished. An excellent company, understanding that we couldn't afford to pay for the job in its entirety, they worked up the estimate in stages, and worked with us. Would recommend to anyone considering a fencing company!

Experience went well but this is our third dog and the collar for our first dog isn't working properly. I seem to keep getting the run around about replacing it. One reason after another why it doesn't work. The last one being the dog is trained well enough. That is true, but if I move I need a collar that will work properly. I will have to call the manufacturer directly to hopefully get some results.

Nichols Fencing put in our underground dog fence. They came when they said, and their installer did a very nice job since we have an irregular yard that is partly wooded. He took the time to work with my dog and show me the proper way to train him. Just as instructed, in two weeks the dog was completely trained. The system appears to be the same as the "most popular brand", but considerably cheaper and there weren't all sorts of confusing packages available like with the other company. I would highly recommend this company!

They were very good. They were quick and on time. They fixed problems immediately. I had three prices and they were the best.

I can't imagine anybody messing things up as badly as they did initially. They went over our property line into our neighbor's yard, which left an area that was missing about 4 feet of fence because they came up short. They returned the next day and fixed everything and made it look nice. At the end, they made everything right and were very accommodating and willing to please. I would definitely recommend them after the way that they handled the problems. I really liked that they had many samples of fence set up right in their showroom, so we were able to see exactly what we were getting. I also really liked their salesman, he came out personally to check out the job and was essential in helping to resolve the problems.
