We needed the house painted  as part of process to get mortgage refinanced. Due to finances, we hired him to paint only the upper 1/2 and the upper trim.  My husband and I painted the lower 1/2 and trim + the garage and trim to keep the cost down.  Owner was very professional in appearance and manner. Gave us a price for partial and whole house painting.   Estimate was little higher than last 2 gotten, but seemed reasonable for the work promised.   As part of the agreement, we purchased and obtained Behr high quality exterior paint with high coverage since the upper house hadn't been painted in over 10 years.  He explained that due to the length of time since painted, it would probably take at least 2 coats for good coverage,  possibly 3 on the sofits.  He would apply it as needed for proper coverage.  We ended up purchasing additional paint  due to this.  He and his 2 assistants power-washed house very thoroughly as promised, also scraped all areas as discussed.  They were very efficient and took care to  clean up after they were done each day.  they finished the work in about 2 days.  When they were done, they had us look at the job before we paid for their service.  It wasn't until the old paint started to bleed through that we could also see the areas that were scraped and NOT painted.    I spoke to him twice as noted above, he did not come out to inspect the problem. I left messages first asking that he call us to set up an appt,  the last message I asked to him to call back so we could discuss what we needed to do to  fix this problem  before winter.   Again, no response.     I finally gave up when we realized that his business e-mail was not an active address.   I know that the paint wasn't the problem since we painted the lower 1/2 of the house,trim and also the garage and trim and they look just fine.  The paint itself is holding up very well.  NOW we have to find a way to get these areas repainted.  My husband and I can't go up those ladders anymore, so i'm looking very carefully at your other exterior painting business ratings.   We have the additional paint in the garage, hope it's still good.
