It took an hour and a half. The waiting area is very nice. Professionalism is important to me. I liked that they explained what needed to be done.

I would say that I was not completely happy with them. The new car came with a 2 year covered oil change and basic in a plan, and so that's broken down by 5000 miles, 10000 miles, etc. My wife has been putting very low miles on this car, so when we got to about 3000 miles, we were maybe 10 months in the ownership and I wasn't concerned with the length of time and not having had an oil change yet. So I took it to this dealer and they basically said we don't need an oil change because you're not at 5000 miles yet, but in the process of this checking, they marked off my 5000 mile visit. So my next qualified visit is at 10000 miles which means I'm going to have to pay for my 5000 mile oil change. They didn't really explained that whole process very well. While I was there, they were professional and everything. I just was not happy with the way it turned out. If I didn't have the warranty I would go to someone else.

AVOID THESE GUYS, they just want your $$$ and not your respect they take no pride in their service. In the market for a Camry, I shopped around various Toyota Dealerships in the area. I decided to go with Ganley Toyota in Akron because it was convenient and the price was competitive. At least I thought so. I made a visit with a coworker and talked with a Sales rep on a Tuesday night, left to visit other dealerships, but returned to Ganley to make the purchase. They told me to come in and pick up the next morning. No problem so far. I did that, proudly drove my new Camry to work only to find a voicemail from owner Mr.Ganley himself, left in my voicemail the previous evening in between my first visit and when I returned to make the purchase, offering me the vehicle for $1,500 less than what I just paid hours before. A lot of things went through my head at that moment, but I thought to myself, 'surely they will honor the lower price.' So, I talked to my boss, left work (with a coworker for support) to return to Ganley and asked for a manager. I very politely explained the situation to the manager. This is the part of the story where I lose all respect for the folks at Ganley Toyota. First, the manager refuses to listen to the message, uses profanity and tells me the car is mine since I drove it off the lot. Keep in mind, I made a point to be polite when discussing the problem. I begged him to at least consider the situation they put me in, especially since I have only had the car for less than ONE HOUR. Instead, the guy gets very aggressive and yells very loudly at me in the busy show room, threatens to call the police and to leave. Stunned, I consider my options, and decide to leave and consult with the folks I work with. They suggest I call and ask to speak with the owner who left the message (Mr.Ganley) about the situation. I do that, and Mr. Ganley invites me back and sits me in his office. Me and my coworker walk in and get some very uncomfortable looks from the men on the sales floor who remember us from before. I made my way to Mr. Ganley's office. I brought a recording of the detailed message he left the previous evening offering the vehicle for $1,500 less that what I had just paid. He looked at me and denied that it was him. He suggested it was another dealership impersonating him! I couldn't believe it! After spending well over 20 grand with the man, he flat-out lies and refuses to change anything about the purchase! I leave angry and helpless. I considered taking the recording to the media, but so far have just written letters to BBB and Toyota headquarters complaining. Ohio has no laws protecting buyers in these situations. Hopefully me sharing this experience here will spare folks some trouble by staying away from these scoundrels. AVOID THESE GUYS, they are RUDE and just want your $$$ not your respect or anything else, just $$$.

Ganley Toyota Scion always does a good job. They really explain things in terms that I can understand. One thing that stands out is their waiting room. It's clean, they have TV s on, and free coffee. Lastly, I rarely have to wait long; I usually get in and get out.

I bought my Camry new in 2002, and have taken it to Ganley for maintenance since that date. Service manager, Michelle Baum, is fantastic. She is knowledgeable and friendly. Coupons are sent each month, which apply to any problems or maintenance that may arise. Since Ganley built the new building, it is a pleasant place to wait. There are 2 big screen TVs to watch while waiting. Although there is a local Toyota dealership/service center, I feel it is very much worth the 30+ mile drive to go to Ganley service where Michelle runs the service dept with a comfortable family sense. She really knows her cars. Maintenance includes a complimentary car wash, and a loaner car is available if needed and requested in advance if the work will take awhile.

After my car was totaled in an accident in May 01, I purchased a new 2002 Camry from Ganley. The total buying experience could not have been more pleasant. Jesse Lopez was the salesperson, and he is the nicest, kindest human being-not pushy and sympathetic to the reason that I needed a car. I was able to get a price for the car at Ganley, that I was unable to come even close to getting at the local Toyota dealer which I had gone to first. I recently was looking at new Camry's again Oct 08, due to the no finance deal through Nov 3/08. Jesse Lopez was not working there at that time, but dealt with another great salesperson, Al Rojas. If I do get another new car, I will gladly deal with Al.

They are fabulous. Michelle Baum is the head of service. I make a special 40 mile trip just to go there for service. There is not enough good things I can say about the people that work there.
