Travis the owner was very easy to work with. He responded to my request and provided an estimate very quickly. The estimate was very reasonable and I didn't feel I was getting gouged. The job was scheduled much sooner than expected. His crew was polite and did a great job cleaning up the debris. I was very pleased with the work and would definitely use the company again.

Paid $4,400 for removal of a large silver maple and the stump--a few feet away from our garage door. Invoice was paid in full before the work was done, because that was more convenient for me. A large pile of wood chips was left in the driveway blocking where we park. Crew came back the next morning and removed the wood chips. I received a bill for $75 for removal of the wood chips. We don't park in the garage because it needs a lot of work, but the one thing that wasn't broken on the garage was the garage door. Before the tree was removed, we could open the garage door, but after the tree was removed we couldn't. Something hit the garage door, too high up to have been a car, and broke the hinges so that it can't be opened anymore. We didn't realize this until a couple weeks after the fact because, again, we don't park in the garage--we noticed when we had our contractor out for a second look at the work that needs done (joist supports, window replacement, nothing to do with the garage door). We couldn't get the door open for the contractor like we could when he had come out before the tree removal. Travis says it wasn't his crew because he was watching the whole time and nothing hit the door, but I am at a loss as to what else it could have been. We had the tree removed before the recent storms that came through our area (thankfully!) and there are no other trees or structures near the garage that could have been damaged/have pieces hit the door. It's a case of my word against his. So I'm just leaving the details here for you to draw your own conclusions. Travis has said he isn't going to require the $75 for the removal of the wood chips. Giving a D instead of an F because the tree was removed effectively. But I am suspicious that this company has such perfect reviews--it's not realistic. Suppression of bad reviews happens all the time--a company I left for ethical reasons used to do it. Please take before photos of areas where you're hiring work done! Doesn't matter how great their insurance is if they won't admit that they did damage and you don't have photo evidence.

I have used Travis' company a few times, and I have always been quite pleased with their services. I first used them to removed 2 storm damaged fallen trees. The second job entailed removing 5 trees from my property that were dead or dying. They are very fair priced, quick and cleanup the areas well upon completion of job. I can't say enough good about them. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They have the equipment to tackle any job. Both jobs were performed quickly and efficiently. His crew is extremely polite, courteous and professional.

We would DEFINITELY hire them again

I initially was impressed with this company. I received a phone call from the owner the same day (a Sunday) I requested an estimate for the removal of several large trees. The owner even sent an employee out to my property to look at the trees. The employee told me the removal would be complicated given the location and power lines. He asked for a day to think about it and would provide an estimate by Mon evening. I never heard from the company again. If the job was too difficult or the company could not handle it then a simple phone call would have been nice.

It went great. I called the owner, Travis, on Friday and Jason was able to come by on the weekend to do an estimate, and was able to schedule the work for Tuesday late morning. Jason listened carefully to what I needed to have done. He and the crew were very accommodating with my request to not drive up the driveway and cleaned up afterwards very nicely, which was appreciated. They re-sawed a smaller stump closer to the ground for me after my request, and even took out a smaller tree next to it. Everyone worked hard and were professional. It did not take as long as I thought it would, and the price was very reasonable. My only complaint would be that I wouldn't have minded a call to say they were going to be a little later than scheduled.

It went very well and the crew was polite and I didn't have to clean up after them. We had a new back yard put in this spring (yes - the driest summer since 1988) and we had maybe 1 wheelbarrow full of roots that were missed. That is great considering the number of trees taken down.
I would tell anyone when you have a tree taken down, have the stump done too. We found 4 stumps from previous owner. Wish we had had the front ones stumped out also but can only take so much of a mess at a time.
Be clear about what you want. If you think MAYBE you want another tree done have it done when the others are done. He's already there and so is the equipment. If you have stumps taken out do you want them to put in topsoil, etc.
Travis climbed the tree and had ropes and the crew pull down sections in a controlled manner.

The neighbor used this company and asked permission to trim trees on the border between our properties. I liked their work, and called them. I was able to get an estimate the next day, and the work was done about two weeks later. Before they started, the man who did the estimate walked around the property with me once again to go over the plans. There were about six people who worked for about 2 hours 45 minutes. Everything went well.

Since the backyard is fenced there was no way to get any large pieces of equipment in the yard. There was a 3 person team that went to work with ropes and chain saws and the tree came down piece by piece. They made quick work of bringing down the tree and before I knew it they were done. They did such a good job, they ended up with jobs from 2 of my neighbors.
