KEMPPEL HOMES

i had gone to the center to check out the builder based on the address that was posted on the website. firstly, the location is not easily recognizable as a kemppel location as it is in a plaza with no signs. upon entering the unit, there was no one to be found. i was there a good 1-2 hours before the end of business day in the middle of the business week. after hitting the bell, a young man came to the desk and asked if he could help. i was just looking around, trying to get a feel for what kemppel had to offer. he replied that he was 'just an accountant' and didn't know of anything regarding sales or the homes themselves. he then wrote down a name and number of a sales' representative and the address of one of their recently finished builds. that was it. i did not go with this building as it didn't seem that they were interested in engaging the customer. i felt as if i needed to be 'good enough' for them, instead of meeting them on an equal field. i felt as if i was being judged by the lone person i spoke to. i can't imagine having a place of business open with no one there to speak to potential customers. frankly, it was their loss . . . they lost a potential customer. and i am happy with the builder i ultimately went with.
