I invited Dan Kearns to inspect our house, and give estimates to remodel. Unfortunately the project was too much (we live out of State) and we decided to sell the house as-is. Although, we did use Kearns Construction to gut the basement. Dan exceeded all expectations, and his fees were very reasonable. Other contractors who I invited to visit the house and give estimates, did not even have the courtesy to get back to me.

He was very professional and prompt, but I just decided to go to another company.  The guy was very professional and helpful.  He also gave me a lot of insight.  I guess the only reason I did not choose them is because the other company was able to give me more of a vision.  The other company has more hands-on products for me to look at.

Mr. Kearns was punctual for his first appointment, was very thorough and professional, gave us an estimate and then informed us when he could do the work.
I was not present when he was at our house as he dealt entirely with my husband, who is a very particular guy with advanced engineering degrees.  My husband was very impressed with Mr. Kearns, his workmanship, his timeliness and that of his painting contractor.  The door looks fabulous, they cleaned up everything and we are just delighted with the result.  
We highly recommend Kearns Construction and will definitely use them again.

Dan did a great job throughout the process.  Unlike many of the contracting services I spoke to Dan was present performing a great deal of the work so when I was interviewing him it was not just talking to the foreman but to the person that was actually going to be doing the work.  Once the project started I had daily updates as to what the plan was for the week and where the delay points could be.  In addition any concerns I had at the end of teh day were addressed the next day without complaint.
The room came out great and we were definately satisfied with the final product.

The project took a while because we were doing some of the labor ourselves. When we were ready for the next phase of the project, he got it done. Everyone that provided service for us were professional and courteous. I would recommend him highly.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Kearns Construction.  Dan is professional, reliable, and extremely good at what he does.  He was patient with us if we didn't know what we wanted.  He and his crew were extremely kind to my two young children.  He worked with my husband when he wanted to change parts of the original plan.  Because he was careful with our budget, we were never worried about being caught short.  I was originally worried that I would go a long time without a kitchen, but Dan hooked up a sink and stove/oven for us every day when he left.  Dan is a great communicator; we never wondered what was happening or if/when someone would show up.  If he didn't see me each day, he called me to tell me what happened each day and what would happen the following day.  If I called his cell, he always responded promptly.  Dan and his crew worked around a really soggy season, and they would often show up at 7:30 in the morning and stay until the job for the day was complete.  His estimates were very detailed and very clear.  My recommendation of Kearns Construction is most enthusiastic.  I will definitely call Dan if I need anything done.

They did an excellent job.  They were very communicative about the job having to be delayed due to excessive rain over the past month.  They came when they said they were going to and were very professional.  They were able to take a photograph that I had found online and recreate it in my backyard. I am very pleased with the gorgeous new patio and pergola in my backyard and would definitely use Dan and his crew for future jobs!

They were very good. They came on time, did good work and cleaned. The workers that came out were good. They were very responsive. They did what they were hired to do and when asked questions they answered them; they were very informative. I have no complications. The price was fair. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

I had no complaints about anything performed.

They were wonderful. Very, very good. He was very willing to work with what we wanted. When we came back with a new idea, he'd give us another estimate. In one case, he made a mistake and apologized. He finds very good sub-contractors to work for him. They knew what they were doing.

I was very happy with the results. I will hire him again for future projects.
