Keith was available for an inspection within 2 days of my calling him. He met me at the property on a Saturday morning and we proceeded directly to the basement to evaluate the foundation crack. He determined very quickly that he did not feel there was a structural issue. He then discussed a few possible reasons the crack may have developed and suggested a method for monitoring the crack going forward. When asked, he also discussed how an issue like ours might be addressed (if needed) in the future. We left the house within 30 minutes, and I received a short written report via email the next day. Keith was professional and willing to discuss any questions I had during the process.

Keith was responsive and prompt when it came to both scheduling and showing up day of inspection. He seemed knowledgeable, but I felt he went through his evaluation very quickly with little explanation. I kept pushing him to explain what he thought was going on based on his expertise. He jumped quickly to repair options that he and his team could provide. I confirmed before he left that he would be providing a full report. As of May 2016 I have yet to receive a report and full evaluation and explanation of problems. Very disappointing for $300.

Keith was available on relatively short notice and showed up promptly at the agreed time. He was very friendly and professional. He took a look at the cracking in the basement walls and was able to provide a clear explanation on the factors that are likely causing the cracking in the walls. In his assessment, the cracking is not a structural problem. He gave a recommendation on how to monitor the existing cracks for any changes and a simple explanation on how to stabilize the wall if that is ever necessary. I highly recommend him.

It went well! Our general inspection revealed that one basement wall was cracked and bowing. Three days later, Keith was able to come out and assess the problem. Taking all of the information into account (including an engineer's report from two years prior), he was able to make recommendations to solve the problem permanently.

I spent $8000 on that work. The owner was very professional and details and explained what he was going to do. He was very truthful of what he could and could not do. They did the work and did a great job. I would give them an A across the board.

Keith and his foreman, Malcolm performed most of the work the work. Keith hired a mason to do the concrete work, but he supervised this the work as well. Keith is a perfectionist! We found Keith easy to work with; he explained the process in detail each step along the way, and daily, he advised on what had been accomplished each day. The project was completed on time and on budget and at the completion of the project he provided an album of photographs of the work at each stage of the process. We are pleased to recommend KG Structures.

After making an offer for a house, Keith came in to inspect the foundation. We had bowing wall in the basement and attached garage. He charged a reasonable price for the inspection, and gave us a great idea of how to remedy the problems. I structured his inspection into my closing offer and ended up buying the house. After I bought the house, Keith came in to do the work he suggested. He installed steel I-Beams along the basement wall buy securing them into the ground with concrete and at the top with wooden support attached to the floor-joists. He also installed 2 more beams in the garage on one wall and on the other wall used steel and epoxy to support against the tension of the bowing. He did a quality job installing. I only have 2 complaints/cautions. 1.) He verbally promised during the inspection a life-time guarantee on the work, but did not structure it into any writing. After the work was done, I asked about the guarantee and he did not give it to me on the work done in the garage - although did tell me to call him if there was a problem. 2.) I had to spend another $500 to reinstall a utility tub because he had to remove all the piping and tub away from the wall. Initially, I had assumed the cost to reinstall the sink was in the contract and that he would reinstall, but upon further inspection it was left out. Let me be clear that Keith did what was in our contract, and did a quality job with the construction - however he made statements in his inspection that never came to fruition in the contract. If I had to do it again, I would definitely make sure that you get in writing, before the work is done, everything you want.

He was able to come immediately when called to give the estimate of reason for the problem and cost to fix it- this was extremely helpful since an offer had already been made on the property and the damage was detected at the time of the home inspection. I scheduled him a month in advance to come back and fix the problem as soon as I had closed on the property. He did change the date for doing the work when I called a few days before what had already been set up, but he only delayed it by one day and I think that is understandable due to the type of business and the advance scheduling. He did show up on the new day planned and had the work done in less than a day. He also gave me advice on what could be done to get better venting in the attic to prevent further damage. I asked him to take a look at a sagging ceiling light fixture in an adjacent area that had been noticed by someone who helped me move in. Keith checked to make sure this damage wasn't structural and even repaired the problem with the light fixture for no extra charge! He did warn me in advance that his company only repairs the structural problems, and I might need to do further cosmetic work to repair the ceiling after they were done. Because my garage ceiling was sagging so low, he said that the plaster and drywall on the ceiling could fall in and make a mess of the ceiling once the beams were raised to the correct level. Happily, they were so careful in their work that they were able to save the look of the ceiling and no further cosmetic work was needed. I don't feel that I can comment on the price for the job because I did not get quotes from any other company. I was very happy with the work done, he was very professional and polite, they cleaned up everything after they finished the job. I really appreciated the extra time he took with the sagging light fixture, it would've been a huge job for me to do on my own.

The project went fairly well given poor weather condition and some unexpected complications that resulted in additional work to be performed and delay in completing the project. KG Structures returned the next day to repair the hole in the foundation after the accident and try completing the work in a timely manner. The weather conditions did not allow the work to progress for several days and once conditions improved KG Structures was back to complete the project. They effectively handled the complication of the project and did not charge for the extra work involved because of the collapsing of the trench on the worker.

AWESOME JOB! KEITH IS EVERYTHING: THE SALESMAN, ENGINEER, AND HANDS-ON WORKER SO YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! THE REPAIR WAS WELL-DESIGNED. HE DID NOT SKIMP AT ALL AND INSTALLED MORE THAN THE MINIMUM! INSTEAD OF JUST ATTATCHING THE DOWNSPOUT TO THE NEW FOOTER HE INSTALLED A SEPARATE DOWNSPOUT DRAINPIPE SO THE FOOTER WOULDN'T FLOOD DURING RAIN. HE ALSO INSTALLED TWO ACCESS PIPES FOR SNAKING THE OTHER OLDER PIPES IF NEEDED. THE ''B'' IS ONLY BECAUSE HE LEFT ME HANGING ON DAY #1. BECAUSE IT RAINED A LITTLE HE HAD POSTPONED THE START UNTIL TUESDAY BUT DIDN'T LET ME KNOW. HE HAD PREV REQUESTED I BE ON-HAND TO ALLOW THEM INSIDE ENTRY. WHILE I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM WITH THAT, HE SHOULD HAVE CALLED. BECAUSE HE DIDN'T, I TOOK TIME OFF OF WORK TO GO HOME AND WAITED 2 HOURS UNTIL WE CALLED HIM ASKING WHERE HE WAS. I WAS PRETTY PEEVED THAT I DIDN'T GET A CALL SO I WOULDN'T WASTE MY TIME. HOWEVER, WORK STARTED THE NEXT DAY AND THE FINAL PRODUCT AND OVERALL EXP. FAR OUTWEIGHS THAT ''BAD MONDAY"
