+ -1 moreJohn called a couple times over the first few weeks saying he was having trouble finding the correct kind of storm windows. This turned out to be a stall tactic. I found the windows readily available by several suppliers in the area. In addition, John stopped calling after the first few weeks and just kept the down payment ($400). He performed no work and did not return to the property. He did not return phone calls asking for the money back, and did not respond to a BBB complaint. In short, John Mills took my money and ran, performing no work whatsoever.
Description of Work: I hired John J. Mills (Johnny on the Spot) to fix several windows (screens and storms) on a duplex I own. The price agreed to in writing was $800, with half being paid up front and the balance on completion.
