Duke's Discount Drain

Very fair pricing compared to others in the area. They were the only ones (out of 7) that discussed pricing over the phone AND sent someone out to provide a quote for free. They were also flat rate, rather than hourly, which I prefer. The hot water for my kitchen sink was barely flowing, I took it as an opportunity to upgrade the entire faucet. The plumber suggested a very low cost addition of updating my visibly corroded valves ($20) which I appreciated. He also changed the washers in the bathtub (all of them) to stop the constant leak up there. The plumber (jason) was on time and didn't mind the dogs (which were super annoying, as usual). He was friendly and professional the entire time. Took me through the work he did to make sure I understood everything. I would highly recommed them.

We ran into trouble with one drain, but they came back to address that. They were very honest and the work was done successfully. They are very knowledgeable and their price was reasonable.

I had 3 other recent quotes between $900-1100. Duke's wouldn't give price until after got prior quote.  I gave him prior quote from another ripoff company, MRROOTER, that had given me few years back of $3650.00. Duke's then quoted me $3,150.00, three times higher than the others. Watch your backs with these guys. I got same job done for under $1000.

It looks terrible. The owner came out shortly after the work was done and agreed with me. He told me they would come out and fix it. I've called them every two weeks since then and they haven't responded.

Have a sewer line insurance plan with dominion because we get tree roots in our sewer lines from time to time. Dukes did come out within 24 hrs but the service was terrible! The guy barely went 40feet with the snake and called it done and he was in a hurry the whole time. In addition, he tracked dirt and sewer water up and down my carpeted basement stairs and chipped the paint in my front door bringing in the snake. When asked to put on booties over his shoes, he acted inconvenienced! Plan on canceling our insurance with dominion now!
