Burt's New & Used

Description of Work: I purchased a washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, and entertainment center from Burt's in March/April 2014. By June the dryer was not drying clothes. The dryer would run but there was no heat. One of their repairman came out and stated the dryerr was on unrepairable. needless to say, I was very upset since I only had it for 3 months. Actually it was shorter than that before I started having problems because I actually waited before I even called. They were only willing to give me $50 off of another dryer (their dryers start at $150). So in order to get MAYBE a better quality appliance I would have to spend more than the base price for a dryer. I also made it clear that I'd just moved and would be a repeat customer. However they were unwilling to work with me to replace a major appliance that stopped working in less than 3 months. I ended up purchasing a dryer from Help Appliance (330-949-4833). When the owner, Andrew came out he showed me how Burt's had taped wires together in the dryer, causing a fire hazard ( I have the pics to prove it). I will NEVER purchase from that store again. I will also advise everyone I know to do the same!
