After giving me a verbal estimate to rake and haul a small area of leaves, he became belligerent at my reply and attempt to negotiate the price. When Steve Brubaker arrived to give me an estimate on raking and hauling of the last of the seasons leaves after the city had already completed their curbside pick up for the year, he asked what I wanted done with those against the house and at the back of the lot. I told him that I would blow everything into a nice square for him and he would only need to come and take what was then piled together. After quoting me a price of $60 which I thought he was joking about because it's a little too many to bag, but not a huge are. So, at his estimate, I said, in what I thought was joking manner to "Get out of here" as we do when we hear something ridiculous. Without losing a beat he flew off the handle and started yelling and cursing at me, calling me names which the entire neighbor hood could hear as he yelled across my yard. Shortly after he started yelling I realized he may have mistook my response as literally get off my property. When I realized and tried to explain, he was too far off the handle for me to even try and reason with so I let him go and am using this forum to warn others about this guy. I've been in customer service in one way or another in my working career, and this is not how to conduct business. 12/4/2014 I am adding this to the initial complaint as a matter of record and safety for myself and my property. After receiving notice of this complaint Mr. Brubaker has left a crazy sounding voicemail that barely made sense, saying that he had a bigger house, which completely irrelevant, and making crazy noises.
