BLOOMING DESIGNS

This is my first time using a landscaper and I couldn't be happier. Blooming designs truly transformed my yard from an overgrown foreclosed mess of four years to the show place of the neighborhood I've already had sevenof my neighbors come by and tell me how beautiful it turned out. I had several landscapers come in with their designs and most of them looked like an office building. But Susie listens to everything I said and made it come true! I didn't want a lot of shrubs I wanted blooming all year round with easy maintenance and hybrid vigor, easier said than done. But that's exactly what they did. I have a dozen different varieties of plants around my yard all of them blooming for different period with different colors that all fit together perfectly. They came in the morning and workd all day nonstop. I came out multiple times to check on their work. I found them very meticulous at removing all the weeds and miscellaneous growth throughout my yard to prepare the bed for the new plants. Even the day of the planting Susie saw another plant at the nursery when she was picking things up. She knew my wife liked pink hydrangeas, she called and asked for her permission to make the change and boom it was done. All they want to do is please the customer. And they succeeded! When they were done they cleaned up throughly, and checked in to make sure everything was done the way I wanted it. They have checked in with me a couple of times to make sure everything is OK and I'm guaranteed everything for 1 year. The pricing was fair and they delivered on everything they promised and more. I have already spoken to them about coming back in the spring and doing some hardscaping to create patio in my backyard. I really can't believe how lucky I was to find this company!

Susie did a wonderful job - she put together beautiful designs and brought these over to show us with information about every single flower/plant. Once we decided to go forward with the redesign on a portion of our property, she had us booked within a week and everything completed in a single day (enough work that would have taken my husband and I weeks to complete). She then came over and met with us and went through each plant and the care needed. We are thrilled with the work shes done and already have plans to finish the remainder of the property this year!

Susie Dempster designed a comprehensive landscape plan for our front yard in October 2011. She provided beautiful drawings and information about every plant recommended. She worked with us to revise the plan to achieve the look we wanted within our budget.
When the day came for the installation, the work crew with their trucks, equipment and plants showed up on time and ready to work. Susie supervised a great team of about eight energetic workers who not only worked together beautifully, but also had the experience and competence to offer ideas and solutions as the job progressed. Every plant was placed according to plan, but also under Susie’s careful aesthetics to create the most appealing final product.

Blooming Designs over-delivered the final product. Since fall 2011 was so mild, Susie had her crew put in still-blooming mums to show us where we might want to place annuals. They planted daffodils that were not on the original plan so we would have a beautiful show in the spring, then further surprised us by cleaning up and mulching two beds that border the garage, trimming back rose bushes and hosta for the winter.

Seeing the landscape come to life this spring has been a joy. We are thrilled with the final project and have recommended Blooming Designs to everyone who has asked. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
P.S. We initially wanted to work with Blooming Designs because of the beautiful work they had done on three other homes in our neighborhood.

Our property is wooded with our front yard consisting of basically ground cover. We have no lawn to mow. What we were looking for was someone to spray or pull the occasional weed/seedling and pick up sticks/twigs/branches that had blown off trees. Susie and her crew came out to do just that. They were great...very friendly and hard-working. After they were finished, they used a leaf blower to clear debris off our deck, walkway, and drive. The property looked fabulous when they were finished. They are going to return every couple weeks to keep our property looking nice. I feel so fortunate to have found Susie and her crew.

I saw her ad in the West Side Leader three years ago, contacted her and discussed what we would like in the future. Little by little, we have achieved the look that we want with perrenials, annuals, color and variety starting in the spring through the fall.
