When I relocated to Ohio in 2007, I wanted to find a board certified feline specialist to care for my cats, and Dr. G. Tom Mann was my choice based on hours of research at the time. Prior to my move, I had had some problems in South Florida with well meaning veterinarians who did not have the level of expertise that a board certified practitioner such as Dr. Mann brings to the table. I had learned my lessons and this time around I wanted someone who focused on cats' ailments and kept pace with the ever changing world of feline medicine. As THE ONLY board certified feline expert in the region, Dr. Mann is indeed THE MAN for the job. He is A CAT MAN EXTRAORDINAIRE who knows precisely what to do, which tests to run, and does not waste anyone's time or money. I have been taking sick cats to vets for more than two decades and have experienced a vast range of differences in veterinary offerings. I have never, ever met anyone like Dr. Mann.
Jinji is my elderly male tabby cat I rescued during a hurricane in Florida in 2003. He arrived with some grave health issues and I wasted a lot of money over a two year period in Florida trying to get him properly diagnosed.
Dr. Mann operated on Jinji in 2010 in Akron and Jinji has been in great shape ever since. Proper diagnoses with Dr. Mann are the norm.
Jinji was treated today for an ear ailment and given his 3 year rabies shot. I am taking my female cat, another rescue, to see Dr. Mann next week for her vaccines and rabies shot and will discuss plans for teeth cleanings. I highly recommend Dr. Mann to anyone who has cats. He also has cats, and not all veterinarians do, which also makes a difference.

Very well. Talked about what to do next and what outcome may be. Very professional and straight forward. Not pushing for additional or unnecessary other services or expenses.

Dr. Mann, the vet that we see there for our cat is the only board-certified feline cat expert in this region. He is the only one that we see there. He is so amazing. He is running tests right now, and he gave the cat medications to try and see if that would work. I'm supposed to follow up again in early September. Everything that he has figured out has been totally just right on the mark. He specializes in cats to the highest degree. We don't waste our time with somebody who doesn't have as much expertise as him. Things are different with him. He is able to pinpoint the problem pretty quickly. He is the one person in the country who is in charge of board certification for other feline vets that want to become board-certified in the country. I have seen a lot of vets, but I have never seen anyone who works with cats the way Dr. Mann does. He totally amazes me at every single visit. I am more than thrilled with him.

We use this clinic all the time. They are very knowledgeable and up to date with the latest information. The biggest thing for me is that they are so compassionate, including the office staff.

Visit went extremely well. We have made a plan to have tumor surgically removed from cat in May, based on this exam. I really like taking all my cats to Dr. Mann as I feel I can completely trust his opinion, which is backed up by years of experience and board certification as a feline practitioner. Dr. Mann is the only board certified feline practitioner in this area, and I take all four of my cats to him. He is an incredible wealth of information on what is wrong with any cat I have ever taken to his practice.

After having a number of vague, incorrect diagnoses from other vets over the years on my cat, Chloe, I sought out the help of Dr. Tom Mann, who is the only board certified feline practitioner in my area. He performed exploratory surgery on her, determined immediately what the problem was, and she is on the proper medication now for treatment. She has never been happier, and I could not be more pleased. She had been urinating around the house and seemed totally miserable. My previous vets were guessing, while Dr. Mann got right down to business and explained this surgery would be the only way he would know for certain what was going on. Chloe is happy and no longer peeing all over the place, and I am thrilled beyond belief.
