We have used A to Zoff previously in the past but based on our most recent service call we will never, ever use again, it DEFINITELY pays to get a second opinion. We contacted A to Zoff in November 2021 to service a faulty powered exhaust motor for our gas furnace, and were told the part with installation would cost $1800 to replace and would not deliver for 2-3 weeks. The EXACT same part lists on Amazon for $149.00 and would deliver in 2 days, that is some markup on labor as it only involves a simple swap out of an easily accessible part on the exhaust pipe vented outdoors. Obviously we were quoted an extended delivery time, and excessive cost to obtain the part, so we would choose to go with a replacement furnace instead. The quote we were provided to replace with a 92% efficient furnace, which was not a current 2021 model, was $7,936. We chose to get a second quote from another HVAC installer and it paid off. We had a better, brand new 96% efficient furnace installed at LESS THAN HALF THE COST. I am an older woman and felt like the technician definitely was trying to take advantage of my age and believed I would fall for these overpriced tactics in fear of not having a fully functional furnace.

They come when they say they're going to come and do what they're going to do. They're very professional. They're price is also good. I don't feel like I'm being ripped off. I just use them for 15 years, I just like them. It's always clean, they take the old filters with them. They're good. They communicate well and I like they're professionalism. I don"t have any doubts. They don't try to sell me stuff that I don't need.

The entire project went well... and the price was right. The A to Zoff sales guy, Brandon, is also a repair technician, which I felt was valuable. Here's why: The first furnace I selected would have required installing intake/exhaust venting through the side-wall of my basement to the outside. New 2 or 3 inch PVC piping would be needed to run from the furnace to a newly made hole in the side of my condo. This would have required pre-approval from the Homeowners Association... which at times can be a hassle. Plus, upon further examination, because of space constrictions, Brandon determined it would be difficult to run the two PVC pipes. Thus, he recommended a different furnace which would not require side-wall venting. Rather, installers could use the current chimney. I appreciated the extra time Brandon took to thoroughly assess the matter. Plus, A to Zoff's estimate was lower than two other bids. When the installers came, they were polite, fast, efficient and professional. The old furnace was removed and the new one installed in less than four hours, including clean-up time.

went quick real pros. However charged 230.00 dollars for a 50.00 part plus 99.00 service fee. 400% markup on a part? Give me a break! I'm retired and felt really gouged.

call them I had no heat on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2016. Within 2 hrs. a repairman was at my home. Due to the age of the furnace and the cost of the part, I decided to get a new furnace. Since I had no heat, A to Zoff said they could install the next day. The installer promptly called Monday AM to report he was on his way to my home. When he came into my home, he covered his shoes and every time he and his co-worker came into the home. They were very neat and put drop cloths on the carpet. They also used a shop vac to clean any debris. He also put a drop cloth on the floor when he installed the thermostat and carbon dioxide detector. They were very professional and courteous. By mid afternoon the installation was complete. He didn't leave until he was assured that everything was working and answered any questions I had. I am completely satisfied with this company and their employees. I will definitely call them for heating and cooling issues. I strongly recommend A to Zoff for heating and cooling problems.

Quote was submitted on time, and they had the best prices out of 4 or 5 major companies.
I do not remember exact price, that is why approximate cost is $1 above, but they were offering the best price for the high efficiency furnace we were looking for.
They came out on time and finished inside the time frame they promised.
Installer was very professional and experienced.
The owner also came out during the install to make sure everything went well.
They also did annual maintenance and furnace repair prior to the new furnace install.
