Description of Work: Due to a very steep driveway, I had electric heating cables installed to melt snow and eliminate icing some 28 years ago. recently, an 80 foot length of this system failed due to some electrical break. As the driveway is over 300 ft long finding the location of this failure seemed to present a large problem. Lacking any repair solution, the replacement of this entire system would have been a very major and costly job. P&K Electricians, using the latest sensor location technology, were able to locate the long buried junction boxes and the points of electrical failure within inches. By then removing but a small area of asphalt, they were able to extend the electrical supply from the nearby junction box to beyond the failed sections of heating element wires and solved the problem.
