Had to fire this company 3 months into the engagement. They did a lousy job on my lawn, it was a pure rush job every week. They guys would do an acre property in 10 minutes and literally sprinted around the yard to finish as fast as possible. I gave them three warnings and the final straw came after they destroyed my morning glory vine. You can do so much better but it would be tough to find someone worse.

Juan was very responsive to inquiries, the price was reasonable and we are happy with how the yard looks.

Very unreliable, do not follow through with the agreed work amount, do not listen to your requests and ignore them, left large  area unseeded, needed constant supervision, did not bring enough topsoil as agreed to cover the gravel path and the grass now does not grow there, did not compact the area.
They abandoned the lawn contract and showed up only for 3 out of 5 applcations
Would not return calls for days
Would not show up for scheduled appointments when finally returned calls
Damaged the lawn all over with tire tracks during the fertilizer application, showed up 3 weeks later to look at it and never repaired it, just sent me the bill...
very very unreliable, you do not know what you will get from them.

When they finally got around to doing the job, they did a decent job.  However, I found doing business with them to be very unprofessional.  The woman who handles their phone calls is very rude.  I called for a fall clean-up and got an estimate that I thought was fair after getting a few estimates.  I reached out to them the week before Thanksgiving to see if they were available to do the job.  I had to chase them down as I left a few messages and nobody returned my call, but finally got them on the phone.  I explained to them that we were having other work done on the house, and we would need to have the work done before Thanksgiving.  I realized this was very short notice, especially since we were expecting snow the day before Thanksgiving.  I gave them every fair opportunity to tell me, quite reasonably, that they would be unable to do the work on that schedule.  If they would not have been able to do it, I simply would have hired someone else.  However, they PROMISED to get the job done either the Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and prior to the storm.  I returned home Tuesday evening to find that the work had not been done.  We called Martino's and got the same woman in the office.  We reminded her that we were promised this would be done before the holidays, and that was a condition of us hiring them.  She got very nasty and said that everyone wants it done before the holidays, and if it was a problem, she would just cancel service completely.  At this point, we had a very narrow window of time to get this done, so finding someone else on that short notice was not an option for us.  We asked if they would provide some discount since they did not honor their word to me in getting the job done before the holidays, but they refused.  Since we had no choice, we moved forward with the work, but I will never do business with them again.  I would rather pay a little more for someone who values my business and treats a customer like they matter.  Additionally, they sent me a bill, followed by another bill less than a week later.  How about you give me a chance to cut a check?!  Then, I mailed a check, which did not clear my bank for nearly 3 weeks.  Not sure if they held it or it was delayed in the mail, but 3 days after my check cleared, I got yet another bill, this one telling me that I have an over 30 day balance.  Just very frustrating to do business with.

No one on the crew that shows up speaks English or pretend not to when you ask them to do something. They certainly understand you when you offer them a drink. I have only been here 2 years and have had 2 completely different end of season clean ups. To be honest I don't even think they cleaned up this year.

Job was done as promised in three days. Bit noisy as was expected. Men worked an eight-hour day. Some precarious tree-climbing. Moved their truck when we had to get up and down the driveway. Price was pretty much what was estimated. Property hasn't been this neat since 1984.

Called numerous times, they never return phone calls. They come and perform clean up work without advance notice and just bill you for it. When you question their bill, they seemed annoyed. Overall a very unprofessional, VERY expensive service.

I will never use these people again. They are extremely expensive!! They never return phone calls or return emails. So, I went elsewhere.

We were very pleased with the finished product. The job was done in one day and was exactly what we asked for. It took a little while to get a quote and to schedule the work, but overall it was a positive experience.

Martino did an ok job. I probably wouldn't work with them again, and I wouldn't recommend them to others. It was hard to get them to commit to a start date.Their contract was also written very poorly. I just wasn't impressed with the service or the relationship with Martino.I would have liked them to be a little more thourough with their work and the clean-up of the site.

I live in a development and we have common property. They got the contract for doing the common property and they have been doing it a couple of years. They did a good job and they did some of the houses in the development. There are a number of different landscapers in here. I had an accident last fall so I couldn't do my own lawn work this year and they were offering a nice deal for anybody in the development who would sign up with them. We signed up with them and we have been very happy. They offered us a price for spring cleanup, fall cleanup, and lawn care in the season which is pretty good. With tax the price is $150.33 per month for the season and the season is 9 months long. For the year I pay them $1280.00. I don't dislike anything about them. They have done a really good job. They come once a week as promised. When they started, they were cutting the grass at the wrong height. I have the guy's email address and I emailed him with some comments about the work they were doing. He spoke to the crew and they changed it. They were very very responsive and now they are doing it the way I want it done. I have some construction going on in my half acre property and only about half of it is actually developed. I sent him an email telling him that I was having some construction going on for 3 or 4 weeks in the summer so to let his crew know and have them do the best job that they can do. They come in and they cut around all the piles of dirt. I am having some rock walls repaired so there are rocks piled up on one part of the property and there is some foundation work in another part. They are just working around all that, no questions and no complaints. I am very happy with them. They are excellent overall. The price is excellent. Some of my neighbors pay more than that. The quality is very good. I sent an email to him about what needed to be changed and the next time they did it, they changed it. That is as responsive as you can get in this business. Their punctuality is not applicable. They promised to cut me once a week and they cut me once a week. I don't really care when they do it as long as it is done. By Saturday morning my grass is cut. That's all I care about. They are good on professionalism. I don't really interact with them.

They were very good. They did what they were supposed to do. They were easy to deal with and were very cooperative.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR ELEVEN YEARS AND THEY ARE WONDERFUL. I AM TREATED WITH MUCH RESPECT AS A CUSTOMER. THE WORKERS ARE VERY EFFICIENT AND PROMPT. MY GRASS IS VERY HEALTHY AND LOOKS BRIGHT GREEN.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR MANY YEARS AND THEY ARE THE BEST. THEY ALWAYS CLEAN UP THEIR CLUTTER BEHIND THEMSELVES. WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING THIS COMPANY MY LAWN WAS BROWN NOW IT IS BRIGHT GREEN.

I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AS LONG AS YOU DON'T MIND PAYING A HIGH PRICE. I AM HAPPY WITH THE WORK THEY DO. THEY ALWAYS COME WHEN THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO AND THEY GET THE WORK DONE QUICKLY.

THEY ALWAYS COME ON TIME, BUT THEY ARE SOMETIMES SLOPPY IN THEIR WORK. THEY ARE NICE ENOUGH, AND THEY DO THE JOB WITHOUT ANY BIG ISSUE. THEY ARE BAD ABOUT CALLING YOU BACK SO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO CALL THEM.

THEY SHOW UP ONCE A WEEK. THEY JUST SHOW UP. THE WORK IS DECENT. THEY DO HAVE COMPETITIVE PRICING.
