JMF Architects were originally referred to us by a friend but I did my research on Angie's List. Jim from JMF Architects worked hard to provide us with solutions to our renovation issues. He made us feel comfortable and took on lots of the responsibilities we had no idea about. I highly recommend JMF Architects for your next renovation project.

Jim was a pleasure to work with. This being our first renovation, we really had very little understanding of the process when we first began. Jim walked us through everything, handled our numerous changes of mind without blinking an eye, was receptive to every suggestion/request that we made, and always made us feel valued as a client. He was incredibly prompt with every new request; he'd have sketches returned to us within a day or two after discussing some new modification. His background and comprehensive understanding of our town's building codes helped us to feel quite certain that our final plans would meet with minimal objections when submitted, and he helped us through the process by submitting the plans to the town for us.
All in all, Jim made the process of drawing up plans a smooth and pleasant one. The contractors that we've had over to consider his plans have been very impressed with his work and his thoroughness. He is a true professional, and his pricing was the best we've seen thus far - beyond reasonable, especially considering the personal attention we received.
